@@mojotoneofficial Thanks for the reply.I've sent a short video to Thomann in Germany, and they've replied asking me to send it back to them for a replacement.Luckily they've now got a distribution place in England.I'll get back to you when I receive it.
@@mojotoneofficial A quick heads up.I just got a replacement sent through to me from Thomann, and thankfully it's just what I was hoping for.A lovely amplified sound on my Sigma acoustic..
Thanks for your question, being a magnetic pickup it will require steel, brass, bronze and nickel strings. This pickup will not work with nylon strings. -Mojo Team
I just bought this pickup and I’m getting that typical single coil buzz. Could the noise canceling preamp be defective? I have to move around to get it to quite down. Love the tone though, but might have to return it and get a humbucker. Let me know
Hey Greg, are you running any pedals with external power supplies? Those can cause noise issues. If not, give us a call on Monday and we’ll get you a replacement out. 910-259-7291 Thanks!
@@mojotoneofficial Hi and thanks for the fast reply. I must have had a ground issue or something because the buzz is not near as bad now. I do get a little noise compared to a microphone, but not too bad and even on another review the guy said you might ge† a little 60 cycle hum. It sounds amazing especially compared to my old Dean Markley and look forward to trying it this week in a live situation. Thanks
Hi Jim, thanks for your question! Unfortunately it does not work on nylon stringed guitars. Being a magnetic pickup, it requires steel strings to produce sound.
Thanks for asking, it will work for the acoustic bass and 12 string guitar, however measure the size of the sound hole first. This is will not work for bajo sexto. Thanks- Mojo Team
I think that’s the best sounding soundhole pickup ever.
All mine does is distort at every level.Changed cable.Checked on amp and also laptop. The same.So binned it
Hey Steve, That shouldn't be happening. Please contact us at sales@mojotone.com and we'll get you a replacement!

I think the active peizo sounded better, and I use an LR Baggs anthem. ...
Does this work on Classical (Nylon Strings)? I've not yet had time to watch the entire video. Cheers!

would this work for acoustic bass, bajo sexto, and 12 string guitar?

For half the price I would consider it.
It’s under $200 making it easily one of the most affordable soundhole pickups on the market. You are not going to find many quality pickups for $100.
