The next generation in master key systems is here. Built on the globally recognised EPS platform, the EVVA EPS generation 2, high security master key system, delivers unprecedented value with a patent life to 2041, the longest patent life of any similar system in Australia, and employs unique features to harden it against lockpicking, drilling and key bumping.
Developed using patented sinusoidal key design technology coupled with multiple broaching sidebars, provide up to 53 million possible combinations, enabling a system hierarchy design that can be scaled from a simple key alike system, all the way up to a large complex multi-level master key system. This added protection of sidebars and sliders delivers a very low chance of phantom keys that would otherwise compromise security.
The weather resistant EVVA EPS G2 is suitable for the harshest of Australian environments and the long-life anti-wear parts that combine with the cylinders are precisely manufactured and cycle tested to 100,000 openings, making the EPS G2 a reliable choice across a range of locking applications.
Each EPS G2 key has both edge cuts and special side cuts or notches. The internal sliders within the cylinder align with the control bar when a key with the correct edge cuts is inserted. At the same time, the cuts or notches in the side of the key must also match the side bar within the cylinder. When the correct key is inserted, both the control bar and side bar will correctly align allowing the cylinder to open.
EVVA Australia provides three separate safeguards to protect against key tampering and illicit copying. These include controlled protection by tightly supplying EPS G2 blanks to authorised dealers only who must adhere to stringent procedures before cutting keys for customers, legal protection through patents and licencing, and technical protection as EPS G2 requires not only edge cuts but also side notches that help protect against reverse engineering.
