It's so crazy to me that I can think back to time when WCPW was around and a young Gabriel Kidd was just getting his start now he is one of the top guys for NJPW.
He's come a long way from wearing a King Ross "I'm a loyal subject" shirt and being Prince Ameen's lackey, but he's always had it!

I’m so happy some of Gabe’s interview made it to video. Gabe Kidd vs. Yota Tsuji will be a Wrestle Kingdom main event. And Gabe naming himself, Tsuji, and Yuya Uemura as the Reiwa Three Musketeers gave me goosebumps. Those 3 were there during the pandemic wrestling each other and making each other better. Gabe sharing how he Face Timed with Hiroshi Tanahashi from a psychiatric hospital makes that moment where Tanahashi was crying after his match with Kenny Omega hit harder. Imagine if Gabe Kidd joins Hontai. He would be the top babyface in the entire company.

Gabe had the look of a warrior in his eyes during the WK match. One of the few guys really keeping me hooked in the wrestling world.

It's clear that they're turning him face (this promo said it all) but it seems to be a gradual change, which I like. He still has his cocky bravado but it's just not turned up to the MAX like it was when he was a heel.
Now, what I'm not the biggest fan of is Kidd going after Tsuji already.
I don't think Gabe should be taking losses immediately after his performance against Omega (which he also lost) and they SHOULD be building him up towards that match with Tsuji, where he eventually goes over and Tsuji moves up to the World title picture because there are technically still two gaijins in front of him.
ZSJ and Finlay still rank higher than him so they really need to start building him up and having him WIN matches if he's going to be their number 1 gaijin.
He's a joke as a heel then. If someone is a heel, they should be really hated. Gabe is terrible, even as a heel and more as a face.
@@shikuri3178 Well he was pretty hated as a heel but the War Dogs unfortunately have been the weakest iteration of BC so he's not had a ton of time to shine.
But you can't stay heel forever, just like you can't stay face forever so they are probably looking to change him up now as the fans like his fire and dedication to New Japan.
The reaction he recieved at Wrestle Dream, compared to the reaction Umino recieved at Wrestle Kingdom is night and day

And people are saying Bullet Club isn't what it used to be, and that's true, but personally I think Gabe, Clark, and Driller are the best part of Bullet Club right now and I hope they take it to new heights, These are my dogs, for real!!
