After being without a month for almost 3 months we finally got a couuuchhhh!! I'm so excited, cant believe the apartment is finally coming together. We had a really hard time trying to find the perfect couch because every single one we liked was either too expensive or shipping was taking 3-4 months. So glad we found this one at Bob's, it took less than 4 weeks to get here which was amazing!
p.s sorry for that emotional moment lol but in all seriousness I love and appreciate you all. Thank you for always being there and constantly supporting me, I genuinely feel like this is a win for all of us ✨❤️

I’d say keep the couch pillows and just cover them instead of buying a whole new set of pillows. Unless you want a different shape then I get it

I love this couch and the set up. You definitely helped me with some ideas for my new living room. I would love to see an update video when you purchase your carpet and how you sized it. I find it so challenging for me right now, finding the right carpet size for my living room and bedroom.

Yessss I totally agree. Except I'm actually diagnosed with OCD and it really isn't a matter of wanting things in a certain place lol This bothers me, but it certainly isn't OCD! I wouldn't wish actual OCD on anyone...I (and I'm sure others with OCD) would love it if people stopped using the term OCD to describe being organized/clean/neat/tidy etc - cause that's not OCD!

Have you thought of switching the couch to where the entertainment center is and vice versa?
Then you can have space for the TV, entertainment center and the Christmas tree on the other side.
It's just a suggestion, maybe then, you won't have that empty space behind the sectional. 🤷🏽♀️

Maybe buying pillow covers could be an option instead of getting all new pillows
If you already have couch cushions, I suggest you measure them and only buy pillow cases for them. And you can switch the pillow cases seasonally instead of getting more and more cushions everytime. And if u want different shapes, but a pillowcase in any shape and size you like and use the stuffing from the cushions.

Okay so couple idea for the couch situation! Get a console table (or make one!) for the empty space behind the couch, and then you can put lamps or plants on it! Also the most important discovery I made when I moved into my own place: PILLOW COVERS. There’s literally so many cute options on Amazon, and that way you don’t have to buy a million pillows AND you can swap them out for seasonal decoration or just cuando te da la gana haha
That couch is beautiful! I’m one of those that has been here since you were living with your mom, I just never comment 🥺 But it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come and you still remain humble and true to yourself 💛💛

Couch😻😻😻😻😻😻 H&M sells cushion covers. I hated my cushions from my couch so I ended up covering them. Very inexpensive and great material. Washing machine friendly.

I been following you since 2015. Also you probably don't realize it you inspired others to do the same. Because of your kind words i started to pursue editing videos during the pandemic. In 2020, I edited few videos on RUclips. Then I switched to focus on tikTok. I'm hoping and praying someday I'll be living a similar lifestyle like yours. So it makes a difference for our latina. However I'm Mexican American but I can relate to you in so many ways. My mom was single most of my life. So the struggling being broke, and seeing my mom raise me and my siblings blows my mind. That's a really beautiful couch. And it looks really comfortable. It seems light color sofas are really in this year. How do you keep it clean? I had to buy a brown couch. Because my family can be a bit messy. I too am surprise that couch came from Bob's Furniture store. If I knew they had things that nice I would have gone there when I was looking to buy furniture.
FYI: If you have seen Jingle Jangle on Netflix, It is a must see movie. I believe you will love it. It is such a fun movie. The music is awesome.

You should do a thin couch table behind the couch with built in outlets! My boyfriend has a wood working company and his mom had the same issue and he built her one and it makes charging you phone, laptop, etc so easy! Also don’t buy new pillows! Buy covers! Then you can make them seasonal and they are $14 for a pack of two on Amazon!

Haven't really watch the entire video but I think you should move the couch and leave the side of the windows empty, not the back of the longer side of the couch ...does it cover the door?

You can 100% find some kind of very thin table to go behind the couch for like a ledge for drinks, plants, etc.
The apartment is beautiful. You should do interior decorating for others. I love you manage to make everything look beautiful. I love the spice rack such a cool concept and that couch is beautiful reminds me of my brothers couch everytime i go visit him I knock out.

Love the couch! Why not push it out so it is against the wall (after that wall that is sticking out). You wouldn't have room for a table, but I think you could just put a coffee table and another side table on the other end instead. I think it would look much better that way.

I know interior define because we have one of their sectionals and yes it took almost five months to de delivered. The sofa i lovely in your space
Having the exact troubles you had with my own couch. Waited 15 weeks for a couch and its been a nightmare. They finally attempted to deliver it, but had the wrong number on file so they had to reschedule. Rescheduled delivery date came, they brought it up and it wouldn't fit through my living room awning. So they had to take it back to the warehouse after all of that. Going to follow your advice now of going to a local discount store to see if I can get something right away because I'm over the wait.

Leases are typically a year so their probably gonna stay or move elsewhere or buy their own place which is common
