How to cut a fiberglass engine cowl

Yeah, I was at Harbor Freight a few weeks ago and didn’t see an aviation department. They’re obviously going downhill. They must’ve abolished that department some time in the last 4 years :)

One other advantage these have over a spinning blade is that if the blade catches or binds, it just kicks out of the cut, rather than wrapping around really fast the way a spinning tool would. Orthopedic surgeons use bone saws like this for that reason.
