Hopefully this video will help when connecting your DJI Neo with the DJI RC 2 *There seems to be a problem with the software with the Neo and the DJI RC 2 as it speaks Chinese to you hopefully update coming soon.
Shaun, good video about connecting the Neo to the controller👍The DJI Neo is awesome for the price and flying experience with the RC 2 screen controller is great in my opinion😀 The video quality can be enhanced more with software like Topaz Video AI. I have a lot of fun and even cinematic flying and filming is possible as you can see in my latest Topaz AI enhanced channel video. Happy flying Shaun. Greetings from 🇳🇱
Hi Shaun, I've just purchased the DJI NEO FlyMore combo (with RC-N3 controller) and updated all firmware/sware - but I cannot for some reason get to the 'extended' settings menu - by swiping down from top of screen - on either my iPad or a Samsung Galaxy as this just opens phone options... Obviously easy on RC2 with it's built-in screen which shows: Network & Internet - Connected Devices - Storage - Compass - System (Language, date & time, and reset) Am I missing something here? - are the same RC2 options available on both controllers and if so how do I access them on a phone/or iPad attached to the N3? Anxious to know how?
Good questions, not sure why your not getting extended settings menu, worth checking with DJI about what is compatible with the DJI Neo as some people using Samsung are having issues. Using the DJI RC2, you will only get the DJI Neo settings and these wont be the same if using Mini 4 Pro and this will be the same if using the RCN2/3. Might be wort sending a message to DJI Support. Hope this helps.
@@shaunthedrone Thanks Shaun, I think I'll give that a go - not the end of the world but I'm a 'newbie' to drones it's a little niggle that I'd like to sort... Great vids by the way... We lived in Southern Spain for 18 years (Sotogrande) only came back to Blighty a few years ago and after the awful summer we've had - really missing that climate you enjoy there...
I have to disagree when you say it s not very diferent from using the phone app to control it. Starting it s not even comparable controling it with wifi and radio signal. With wifi outdoors if you lucky you can control it 20 to 30 meters. Not mentiont the others safefty functions that the remote can provide and the app don t. The app indeed it s pointless for total use of the drone.

Thanks for this video. How do I access the direction track settings from the RC2 controller?
Hi, you can't use direction track with the RC 2 but you can draw a box around yourself like Active track.
@@shaunthedrone Will that allow me to track from the side or the front?
Thank you!
@@arniep740 good question, not one I've done yet but I think its just like follow me
Nice!

Thank you Chris and thanks for watching
Me as well Shaun not interested in using the controller. Fabulous place to fly your drones mate far from home? Too bloody windy in Dorset today.👋
Thank you Paul, glad you agree. I can remember how pants the weather can get in sunny Dorset Many thanks for watching

Como es tan chiquito cualquier controlador puede mandar sobre el
No cualquier controlador, pero sí la mayoría de los nuevos. Muchas gracias por mirar
