The people arrested for the Jan 6 riots are being treated unfairly. Just look at how the people who broke into Congress for the Kavanagh hearings got treated, or the people who got arrested for the summer 2020 riots in DC, vs how the Jan 6 rioters are treated.

I'm a Florida resident. Ron DeSantis has been a disaster! He didn't win the election because he's a great governor, he won because Charlie Crist was an uninspiring candidate, and a lot of Democrats, especially millennials and zoomers, stayed home rather than vote for him.
DeSantis would be extremely dangerous as president because he has all the same authoritarian tendencies as Trump, but he's light years smarter, and a better politician. DeSantis even has some of the same cult of personality as Trump, especially among Florida Republicans.
As for his military experience, from an Army vet with a combat specialty, DeSantis was one of those guys we call a "REMF". Rear Echelon Mother F-er. As a military lawyer, his duty weapon was a Skilcraft ball point pen.
