This helped me out when I released Staff Applications and made it easier for me to pick out people!

You see I have a set time BUT we dont enforce it and we have a Time off channel so if you have school or something you can still be on the team but have a break and tbh basically everyone who says they need some time get accepted for time off. The reason is sometimes i need time off so why can I have time off and the staff can not

Is your server user-friendly (can they easily navigate throughout the server and find the main chat?) Is your server cluttered with channels and confusion? Do you have a hierarchy of roles that are rewarded to users who chat consistently (Bots like Arcane do this) Do you have a theme that is unique or a specific topic that isn’t everywhere on Discord? Answer those questions for yourself and consider them as possible reasons as to why you’re not seeing a growth in members.
Ironically while I love your RUclips videos and I learned a lot about Discord itself and its 3rd party features, actually your own server is actually direct opposite of nice server. Quite aggresive gating of access to various functionalities instead of broader staff coverage and automated supervision, almost no moderator coverage on Question of the day and generally clogged general channel is something what actually prevents me from regular engagement, literally as idom says "the shoemaker's children go barefoot".
"Don't try to do everything on your server" laughs in anime themed server but just with the name and arts, because we spend a lot of time in politics channel 🗿 I opened my server in late 2020 and this year will make 2 years, and I'm close to 3k members, it might not be much, but the amount of effort I put into it, it's rewarding, to see your server going from 2-3 members to over 2,8k over the time I even learned programming so I can make a discord bot 😶🌫️ your server can be a mix of anything, as long as the community is friendly and nice, newcomers will support you It feels incredibly rewarding when you see people boosting your server just because they think it's cool
My server is for religion and to be honest, we ain't serious about anyone. We all just have fun yk and currently we have an event named "Trip to North Korea" because we just do stuff like that.
