I love doing the hikes away from the touristy parts of the Blue Mountains. Where infinity pool is , it looks nice and quiet . Around Lockley Pylon and Butter Box point near Leura is amazing and quite peaceful but there is no fencing . Your video is very nice thank you .

There are a few settlements on the Bells Line of Road which follows the northern ridge, and all the towns along the Highway which runs along the southern. None on the shorter, central ridge. You'd be very unlikely to obtain permission to carry out any any development outside those areas.

I'd probably say 30 minutes from the top 👌🏼
