21 years old, and still sounds fantastic. Ferry's Adagio is very good, but people often forget this one.

Cant believe I haven't heard this before.... great melody and 2000's trance feelz.
Those late 1990s beats just have a purity and innocence that I don't think can be recaptured now.
I always felt like this trumped "Adagio" in terms of melody and euphoria. I think I still do.

I bought this song and the Ferry Corsten 'Adagio for Strings' remix which came before it. I was about 14 at the time. I still listen to the CD singles now.... little did I know that I was buying two of the best trance tracks of all time!
This is truly one of the best, if not the best trance tracks for me. I remember listening to this track on the Soundfactory cd and it definitely gave my mind that deep, melancholic euphoria. It makes you forget your problems for a few minutes and I listen to this track once a year at full volume in my car. Such fond memories of good progressive trance, Ravel was an fn genius for a such a beautiful masterpiece. Thank you Ravel and Ferry Corsten for such a mesmerizing beautiful trance rendition.

A disgustingly upbeat version of a classic. I suppose it becomes tolerable half-way through when the repetitive, droning base goes away.
