There are many reasons- physical, biological, psychological, emotional, social, material/financial- and they do not often fit into the fairy tale so many of us were fed.

Honestly, thank you. I've been beating myself up for things i should've done differently, picking myself apart. 2 years with a man who was eventually a cheater and a manipulator. Rich, poor, black, white it doesn't matter. I thought i was with a decent man, a man of faith and of a good family.. educated and wealthy.. I dove into this relationship for the right reasons, purely put of love and saw no reason why it wouldn't work. What really repulses me is he put in mad work to make me his and i gave in. I just don't understand why and reading the comment section made me realize there is no reason. He just wanted too and it had nothing to do with me. I wasn't on his mind when he did those things so its not my fault. He drove me crazy and really disrupted my peace. Its okay, it happens even to the best of us. Really helped, thanks commenters.

To me the whole entire situation with "side chicks" is out of control. I know how bad it can hurt, so I can't imagine what a pregnant Angela must feel like not only to find out, but also to be blamed like she's the one out here doing it. 😥😷 My husband on 7 years whom I have 2 children with just up and left one day. I kid you not 24 hours before that, we were fine.... or so I thought. long story short I'd been having a feeling but couldn't fine any proof.. it turned out he had been messing with the neighbor. This girl watched us celebrate our children's birthday parties, have family functions and even had play dates at my home and was screwing my husband. I found out in April, I still struggle with it because just the thought that I couldn't make me happy enough or just be enough but someone from out of nowhere can made me feel worthless. He crapped on everything we believe in, as people, as Muslims, as parents, best friends and lovers. Now he won't even give me a divorce. Says "Muslim's don't do that! And you'll always be my wife to Allah!" But I guess Muslims can stick their penises inside of women who aren't their wives.. It's not right. I did everything I was supposed to as a wife, even he said so, yet when the hottest piece of trash walks by in a mini skirt she gets my husbands love and affection. Now here I am trying to explain to my children why daddy doesn't sleep at home now.
