I stayed in Amboise many years ago.It was wonderful.down a side street a little bar serving steak salad and fresh bread.Very cheap but so good.This programme has brought back such happy memories

In about 3 months we are moving house to that is an hour away from here! wow...Im from north Wales and we kinda do castles but that chateau is breathtaking.

I want to visit Saumur, Chinon, and now I have to add Amboise on my list. They are relatively close to each other. Tours is a nice place to stay and venture out from.
If you are not French or of French Heritage, it is almost impossible to start a business in France. They will bog you down in paperwork and fees, to the point where you won’t bother. They are not business friendly. I would think your best bet is to buy into an already running establishment then eventually buy out the business. Good luck.

Leonardo da Vinci lived his last years in the Loire valley, invited by Francois I. He is buried in the gothic chapell high up on the ramparts.
He lived and died in Clos Luce, another castle in Amboise that we don't see in the video. About half a mile from the royal castle
Amboise is quite a large Town of approximately 15,000 😁
