This was the first single from their upcoming album that has already been recorded, which they’ll be releasing through their new label, Sumerian Records. Probably around the summer, for they said the pre-sale for will start next month. And awesome review that I wholeheartedly agree with! Their 2009 album, In the Black , is one of my all time favorite records. It’s got full on metal bangers with double bass and wicked solos, then there’s some beautiful songs on the more melodic side, and of course a combination of the two. Just such an underrated band after their initial blowup with Spit. They’ve evolved SO MUCH with every album and have busted their asses off long enough to finally be getting the respect and recognition they have deserved for some time. I couldn’t be happier for them 😊 (ps they’re also the nicest people and are great to their fans, which makes them all the more kick-ass!)
@@Cobhc2024 well that sucks. She was literally saying “hopefully early summer-ish but it might be late (summer). The new album will be called 🔥 and will hopefully be out around July- I HIGHLY doubt that it’ll come out later than ghat or August. The summer will be the smartest release date since they’re already set to play quite a few. We shall see in the next week or 2 😉
@@Jesuscrisis yeah i know. It was just conflicting reports. Cuz one interview quoted Morgan as saying later in the year, but then it was announced as June 21st lol
Go listen to the last two records, they're absolutely amazing and much heavier than people expect if you're not that familiar outside of the first singles
@@krackergritthey were on a long hiatus and after Trish passed away, and it did seem like that might be the end of Kittie. Then opportunities came by like the When We Were Young festival and Kittie had started getting a revival in new fans who never heard of them and they started doing more festivals… This kinda lead them to be able to work on new music when they’d be practicing for these shows by just jamming, plus the sisters could always come up with new material on their own. Then Sumerian signed them, Kittie recorded an album, and this is the first single. I believe pre-sale will start next month for it, though I’m not exactly sure of the release date.
