He isn't the King of Opera as has rarely performed in opera...and is unlikely to ever do so again. He has made a boatload of money performing popera concerts using a mic and is only popular with people who don't know much about opera...but hey...he makes more money than even the top actual opera singers make...as popera is more lucretive and easier to do .
Not by a long long way he is Popera not Opera literally hundreds of better Tenors out there, he isn't even the best crossover Tenor anymore Jonathan Antoine is.
