Suvarna,this type of sakkare acchu is new for maharastian people .In our state we make sakhar halwa.I like your video sakkare acchu. Nobody will believe that they are homemade they look like readymade bought from market.Your information about making process is too good though it is laborious you did it easy to learn .Really sakkre acchu in different shapes and different colour is very super.wish you happy sankranti .

Thank u....u need to put enough water to soak the sugar or a little more..if u add more water the syrup will be light...it takes more time to get the pouring consistency
Absolutely nothing. Soak the mould in water completely opened into different pcs for 1 hour..Assemble the mould ...secure with a rubber band and pour in the final mixture

Excellent video. One question-Do you apply any release agent to the inside walls of the mold before you pour the sugar syrup?
