Are you kidding? This loss actually gave me hope in my team! Yes, we sucked in the first half, but I've been worried about Justin for some time, but the 2nd half of this game was the best performance by a Steeler QB since maybe half way through Ben's career! He never gave up, and he made things happen. Listen, we have one weapon in Pickens, a lousy RB, decent TE, and a really rough O-line. Plus our defense played really bad. We still almost won becasue of one man. I've not been a fan at all of Fields, until Sunday. It's been a long time since we had a QB that made things happen.
Big facts bro I'm with u 💯 years Pryor we would have known that game was over but I was on the edge of my seat the whole second half I thought we did it I would like to see him get more control of that line an protection an the snap with the center but I like what I seen in the loss from fields if one other player would have matched his intensity we probably win that game
Really we only truly sucked in the first quarter. After that we did good in the second followed by an aight 3rd

Colts got away with 3 pass interference calls and a hold on Pickens close to the red zone that caused the Steelers to punt,, and Fitzpatrick got flagged which allowed the Colts to end up scoring instead of punting,,, the officials were terrible,,, kinda looked like the were favoring the Colts
helmet to helmet hit on Anthony Richardson, also Fields an entire yard past the line of scrimmage for another no-call, Isaiah Land's clean tackle of Fields and yet flagged which was BS. I've only touched on a few, let's talk about the PI not being called near the end-zone, clearly a penalty, no flag. You have an illness called Selective Memory, there's probably pills that could help that condition if you could put down the yellow towel long enough to take them.
Steelers got a free td by crossing line of scrimage to make a throw, colts got flagged 2x for roughing passer even the announcer disagreed with both. Bad refs went both ways
The Colts' Isiaah Land got robbed of a great sack on Fields, Steelers got away with PI that went unflagged at goal-line area, Fields trotted way past LOS and it was too obvious that it was completely ignored, helmet to helmet blast against AR5, piling on a dead play by #24 of Steelers could have gotten any number of players hurt while 2 refs watched it unfold. The woeful offensive line of the Steelers egregiously held on multiple occasions. Just a laughable disregard by the refs all day. Can't wait for DeForest Buckner to get back in week 8 and erase the bad refs all by himself.

The Steelers were not "trash" vs the Colts. Had the officials called even half of the holds that TJ Watt had to endure, the outcome of the game would have been dramatically different.
Flacco only looked good because his O-line got to hold TJ Watt on almost every play---and the Steelers very nearly won the game despite the egregious, un-called holding.
Did you only see the game after it was over and were fast forwarding the highlights? I'm glad your a guy that shows credit where credit is due. I'm a Steeler fan but when I saw flaco step in I was scared. Dude is like my 1970 vallient , they get old but they never break down.
Not all on the defense if George Pickens didint fumble in the red zone we probably would of won
Our defense did not come to play that day and that's the only reason Flagler looks so good

Yes even a slow start to get back in the game really tells alot about our coaching and also about our heart..... However bad calls!!! Our own turnovers should teach us a valuable lesson, one thing that stood out for me blatantly was lack of blitzing when you had FLACO in cause he's not Mobile and miss tackles from our L.B.. ESPECIALLY!!!! PATRICK QUEEN, WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT SO far his worst game as a Steeler ..... However Dallas hear we come... Have to start faster, then we will be alright!!!!

I'm not worried about this loss... I wasn't worried about the team at all... I actually watched the game... Yea our defense didn't play well but it's hard to play well when on the plays where they played good defense they get a flag thrown on them... Ask Minka... In fact that play against Minka is a point that u could say cost us this game... The colts played well not trying to take away from them but if we're being honest we have to mention the ridiculous calls n no calls by the refs... Since when is it ok to run down field for 10+ yards as a wr take both hands n push squarely on the dbs shoulder pads like ur making a block n then cut inside to catch a pass... As far as I understand that's at very least illegal contact... U can't run down the field n push the defender backwards n make ur cut to get open... If that were legal there would b a whole bunch of Darnell Washingtons in the league running 20 yards down the field n chest punching the DB making a cut n catching the ball... The refs may as well been sitting on their bench the whole game that's the reason they won... Yea we had some ugly mistakes but when u can't stop the offense bcuz the refs let them get away with clear violations of the rules in the passing n running game u can't win .. false starts holding pre pass contact like the push I described making up huge gain inducing personal foul penalties that even the commentators r like dude that's not a penalty they shouldn't have thrown that... Then on the other side of the ball upping offside n calling false start against the offense that didn't jump... Lining up in the neutral zone... Grabbing guys by the facemask... Launching into the head n neck area multiple times by multiple defenders on the colts defense... The refs let them get away with murder in this game n made the Steelers pay for the crime they didn't commit... U take just the Minka bad call away it takes 7 points off their score bcuz that play extended the drive n allowed them to score a TD that wouldn't have been if the play was called fairly... Just that 1 play was enough to change the outcome of the game... Stack all the bad call or missed call plays together n then u see exactly how Pittsburgh lost that game
