Rob how accurate are digital stadiometer are they the most accurate method of measuring ?
I've been doing stretches for my anterior pelvic tilt and have been able to gain around 3cm which is insane! This was also a more mild case of anterior pelvic tilt.
I can actually claim 6'1 now because of this.

@ytkacc7794 It depends how long you've had it for and how dedicated you are to fixing it.
I incorporated stretching routine daily, while also sleeping in the correct posture, to help aid my apt.
You can start noticing improvements after 2 weeks of consistency, but this all varies from person to person. It took me 5 weeks to fix this.

Hey Rob could you look at height of turkish actor Mehmet Akif Alakurt, on google it says 190 cm, but in photos he looks barely or if any taller at all than turkish actor Kivanc Tatlitug who's most likely 185-186 cm, do you think Mehmet is equal to Kivanc or he edges him out by 1-2 cm, I don't think he is a legit 190 cm, perhaps maximum 187-188cm

Hey Rob can you check Max Taylor Lifts height? He said multiple times that he's 6ft but in his last bodybuilding show video there's a clip in the first seconds where he gets measured. The video has some editing and filter to it but I'm 99% sure the stadiometer is the same that you have since it has two distincts ''marks'' or ''holes'' quite closer that suggested me that they're at 5'3 and 5'4 marks such as yours, so it might be a Seca 217.
I tried to guess even with the filtered video and seems like he's in the 5'9.25 5'9.5 range so 176/177 can you make a video about that?

For instance once I was measured at 184.5 cm at around 2 - 4 PM but that was after school when I had been lugging around my heavy backpack + I probably wasn't sitting all that straight in my chair. In the morning I was measured at 185.3 cm, but of course that took place in school maybe 1 - 2 hours after I had woken up.

Your real height is 6'1 1/2 (186.7). Since you measure 188 and over in the morning, you can claim as high as "about 188cm" or 187 whatever your like more. If I was you I would claim 187 though

Rob, does the Air Max 90 GOLF model give a 5.08cm height increase? 🤯🤯 I’ve seen an article that claims it does and I tend to believe it because the rest of the list matches exactly to the other Air Max sneakers you have measured. Buying it instantly if true. What do you think @RobPaul
Highly doubt it gives that much.. normal Air max 90s give a little over 3cm

@@podnaldjrgi729j4 Air Max 2021s seem close to the 720s, probably around 1.4 inch range. As for Furyosa it’s hard to tell, but I doubt they’re shorter than 720s, which add over 1.5 inches

Hey rob and other users, is it generally better to measure your height standing facing the wall or having your back against the wall, this type of measurement makes me shorter while me standing straight tall facing the wall makes me taller, I’ve researched and found that your “true” height is the one where you measure with full posture use and when you stand straight and tall not leaning against the back, the goal of standing against the wall is to make a standardized measurement regardless of it makes you shorter and if it even does make your spine compress. Is this correct?

I wouldn’t go over an inch, it starts to become more noticeable and harder to stand up in, similar to heels
@Subiwu I just take out the insole of my thick shoe and replace it with one layer of shoe lift, which gives around 1 cm compresed. I just use it to solifidy my height.

Rob ...my height is really confusing 😅..I wake up at 6ft 1 and a quarter... someday even 4 hours after waking up I can hold up to 6ft 1 pretty well..somedays my mid day height measures at 6ft and 3/4inch...while somedays I measure my mid day height at 6ft 0.5 inch...on a normal day I generally don't measure below 6ft and quarter at the end of the day...even if somebody i go through heavy physical activities..I manage to measure around that 6ft mark when I go to bed at night....on a normal day my height keeps on flactuating between between 6ft 1.25 and 6ft 0.25 through out the day..what height should I claim....?

An object on your head covers a small surface area and if you apply a little force, the amount of hair it touches is small. When I put a can on my head I feel it on my scalp ...granted I am thinning a bit at the crown now :)

Unrelated but Rob I would like to ask you a question and I would love to get your answer on this, being a 5'8¼ guy, what's your reach? And what do you think would be the average reach of a 6'0½ guy? I'm asking this question because I notice that most fighters especially boxers have a reach of about 3-4 inches taller than their listed heights, whether this is legit or not I wouldn't know, so I would love to know the average reach of normal everyday people
by reach do you mean wingspan? for me I'm 177cm morning, and about 175.3-175.5cm just before bed - so on average I am about 176cm (5'9 and change or 5'9 1/2). my wingspan I believe is about 5'10 1/2, maybe a bit below 5'11
Wingspan should equal height on average, it’s not uncommon to have wingspans a few inches longer or shorter than ur height

Rob, I usually measure 175.3-175.5cm just before bed, but have had a very active day today and measured myself as I finished my day, before resting etc, and have measured 175.2cm. Although after 15 minutes of rest I recovered to my usual evening height. Taking into account my 177cm morning height, would i be classed as a solid 5'9? I usually claim 5'9 1/2, but would I be listed as 5'9 1/4 on celebheights, despite my absolute low evening height of 175.2cm, rather than a flat 5'9? Thanks

@@nigel5539 yeah thats true. But when I'm next to 5'10 guys I look pretty much the same height, and 6ft guys dont really look the full 3 inches taller than me. I wouldn't claim as high as 5'10 (although many with my height might), but 5'9 feels a bit short for me tbh, because I will probably appear a bit taller than other 5'9 guys. Either way I'll either claim 5'9 1/2, 5'9 if fractions arent allowed in certain scenarios, or 176cm in metric

I'm not seeing a 3.5 inch difference. I'm seeing a 2.75 or 3 inch difference at most. His head is smaller so his chin is higher. The top of his head minus his hair looks 3 inches max. Looks 5'11.25" to me at most.
His hair definitely adds to his height, but Rob also has a ¼ inch footwear advantage, plus Rob looks to be tilting his head a bit more. Easily 3 in difference, maybe 3.25 in.. Rob is actually a bit over 5’8 in most of these photos.. so 5’11.5+ is likely

Just add 4.5 inches and u have a rough estimate on the average height of that person.. so 5’10 eyelevel would be 6’2.5 on average

Average 14 yo height is around 5’6-7, who’ll eventually finish anywhere between 5’8-6ft on average. But it all depends on genetics, how tall ur parents are and when u started puberty.

@@ledgershots5986Tight hip flexor and other muscle imbalance issues can cause anterior pelvic tilt or hyper lordosis.
This can absolutely reduce your true height by at least half an inch, and that's if it's mild. Moderate cases 1 inch. Severe cases, 1.5+ inches.

Definitely 3in between them, Robs tilting a bit more making him appear slightly taller. Takeoff Robs footwear advantage and it’s more 3.2 in between them. Robs 5’8 ¼ btw
@Subiwu A legit 3 inch difference would mean that Robs head would reach up to the taller guys eyebrows. That's usually how it is at least.
@@gj9157 Eyebrows are usually 0.8-1in higher than someone’s eyelevel, someone like Chad might have an eyelevel around 4.8in, slightly longer than average, plus he’s squinting a bit. Other than that If the pic was retaken while both had an even head level, no head tilting, then I’d guess Robs eyelevel to match Chad’s mouth, which is easily 3in right there
@Subiwu Maybe, sometimes a legit 3 inch difference can look quite big. Look at Robs older video with (Big Adam) that's around a 3.1 inch difference and he looks alot taller than Rob.
