It's finally March here in Montreal, and even as the snow begins to melt, there's still some cleaning up to do from some recent snowfall. My timing was perfect, as I emerged from Papineau metro station as the road graders began working. Sticking around proved fruitful, with some pretty sweet, and surprisingly clean rigs coming in to collect the snow. With Spring around the corner, might as well see Winter off in style. Enjoy the video!

Too bad we don't see these snowblowers any more.. as oposed to frontlaoders with blower attached at front.. Love the Volvo graders. Nice HD quality and filming too! You're a pro.

@Derek Charette Really? I thought for sure they just dumped it straight in the Saint-Lawrence.
Simon Richard It does go to the St. Lawrence river, but via special barges, equipped with heavy-duty filtration apparatus. Otherwise, all the filth and solid waste from the streets would end up in the river, causing horrendous pollution.

Le meilleur équipement et le plus lourd disponible à Montréal pour nettoyer quelques pouces d`une chute de neige de Mars qui serait disparue le lendemain avec une légère pluie ou un peu de soleil en après-midi.Grâce à un surplus de budget (non-transférable) on évitera à notre gang de braillards de circuler sur un millimètre de neige.Dire qu`il` y à quelques années il était si facile d.aimer et d.apprivoiser l'hiver.
