Saw them at The Greek in Los Angeles and was next to a husband/wife pair of attorneys in their 60's. You're never too old to appreciate the awesomeness that is Nightwish. I'm 53 by the way, lol and have loved them for a decade. They were one of my original gateways into this genre of metal along with After Forever, Within Temptation, Tristania and Epica.
I have seen so many Night Wish videos but never this one, strange. Floor is so beautiful in this one. Amazing how much she has grown on me. Personality and talent goes along ways in determining true beauty and she has plenty of each.
Some of the best pyro/sfx I've seen in a Nightwish video. I've watched a couple hundred Nightwish reaction vids by now, and the more I watch, the more impressed I am with Emppu. Not only is he a helluva a guitarist, but keeping his bandmates loose and relaxed is an underappreciated bit of business that he carries off so well, and often without notice.
Any band that has been together more than 3-4 years will tell you that staying loose is critical to it's survival. My wife managed a blues-rock band for 25 years and I've seen this first hand. And yes, Emppu is a terrific guitarist.
Totally agree about Empuu. I love the wee guy. He enjoys himself so much, and his enjoyment is infectious. Yet, even whilst he's up to his mischief, he never misses a note. Tuomas must be so proud, seeing his 'troops', fronted by the Metal Matriarch, Floor, captivating audiences every time they perform.
Sorry folks but to me...she is Wonder Woman, a Warrior and the best in this band. Very pretty, lots of muscle, and just damn GRRREAT! Love her!!! Very Amazing!!!

She's trying to sing in different ways that she simply does not know how to so she either has to stick with what she knows which is classical singing or take singing lessons. Not the best singer in my opinion not for Nightwish or anybody else. But that's just my opinion no offense intended.
Epicness right there on that stage. Phenomenal band with all members masters of their craft. I had not heard of Nightwish or Floor until around 14 months ago and since then my musical world has been turned upside down and inside out. Thank you Nightwish. 🙏👍😊❤️

Why ARE they so much better live than in studio? From what I've noticed it sounds like Floor's voice is being taken down a notch somehow in studio and isn't allowed to reach its full impact the way she sings live. I have a hard time listening to some studio songs bc of this tbh which is probably just me but oh well :;D

Even in 'Scaretale', you'd think it's tailored for her and fits well, I don't like it. Though the songs themselves are true masterpieces. But I think I speak for most of us: When it comes to live concerts, neither Tarja nor Annette can compare to Floor, no matter how you look at it. Sure, there is one (or two) songs that I prefer Tarjas hardcore operatic soprano version as if she's bursting crystals, and yes, maybe Annette was more active on stage (at the beginning of both tours, before she was dead exhausted from tight schedule, non-stop travelling, getting sick and being pregnant, she was like a little pixie-like mini tornado and very charming). But Floor just rocks it.
hi so 2016 according to her bio and news bits in 2016 by august and september floor announce that she was expecting but one can see the bump as early as august her daughter i am sorry this is a ramble comment my point is that july 2016 i think she may be expecting but did not make it known till september when the bump could not be hidden which explanes the outfit especially her corset is higher up avoiding the waist area

At fifth grade our school took us to a church, in the end made everyone stand in a row and the priest was sitting on a fine chair with some grams of gold chains around his neck and a gold ring, his hand brought forward, a disciple standing next to him and our schools principal the other side. Passing by I had no idea why we are in line, getting closer, I looked weirdly at the priest then to the principal, towering over us kids, forced to kiss the ring, It was one of the most confusing and disgusting moments of my life. At fifth grade our school took us to a church, in the end made everyone stand in a row and the priest was sitting on a fine chair with some grams of gold chains around his neck and a gold ring, his hand brought forward, a disciple standing next to him and our schools principal the other side. Passing by I had no idea why we are in line, getting closer, I looked weirdly at the priest then to the principal, towering over us kids, forced to kiss the ring, It was one of the most confusing and disgusting moments of my life. Their faced are hacked in my brain.
The worst part my father would always degrade my mother and compare her to the principal.
