@@PrinzessKennY $1000 is pretty high for an untouched mustang. Can’t really compare the price of a Mustang to a PRE since the industries and demand for both are vastly different.
He Is GORGEOUS! I love the black on his nose. And his long dark mane, etc. He's just a showstopper. And he has such presence. I can't wait to see his progress and Wow what he looks like cleaned up! 😍😍😍
Yes, I think I Iberian too. Shame he was gelded,as his import to the Herd would have been fantastic. But, he will still make someone a beautiful horse, just make sure that ,when he is trained to saddle etc, he goes to a home that understands the gentle fragile temperament of these Spanish breed. I have been to many of the Spanish Stud Farms, and, believe me, the very best of them, don't even put a saddle on them until they are four years old. The foals at weaning live outside in vast Pastures, and play and frolic as much as they want, they are fed very well, by gentle Owners, and, recognize humans to be ,the yummy food giver,s. Other Countries could learn a lot, especially about, letting the young horses, grow, with plenty of muscle , as they grow so well, and play most of the day. Awe.
He's so stocky and built out because he wasn't guilted until he was 7 years old. If you wait that long on all studs they will be that big and filled out if you cut them at 7 years old. Did you not see him scraping at the ground with his lip raised. That's why he was doing that because he was cut so late in life.
Did anyone tell Dr. Cothran and Dr. Sponenberg about this horse before he was gelded? That stud needed to be DNA typed and then turned loose again to breed on the range. I know most of the mustangs need to be removed from arid lands, but that's a terrible waste of a splendid band sire.
Can't wait to follow your progress with him! I also saw the little grulla we just adopted in the pens at the beginning of your video. :) Thanks for the sneak peek . . . hoping to get her soon.

The one you got and one of the black horses with a dot star and a white nip at 3:37 kinda in the front middle of three that I remember really wanting to bid on but I don't have the room and It is like 9 hours away. Glad that the gray now has a home and the black appears to be getting a home. :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE a stocky build like that. I rode and showed a Belgian/Thoroughbred cross for a number of years who was an absolute dream. Beautifully proportioned, thick, muscular body and a really smooth gate. I used to compare it to riding a lazy boy couch, but there was nothing lazy about him. He taught me so much. I miss him.

I don;t live in your country but have watched a couple of m/m/over videos and from what I can gather mustangs are rounded up and someone spends 100 days ?? working on them then they are auctioned off to their new homes ? Can I ask ~ do you pay to get the horse to train ? obviously you do I would imagine , also when it is auctioned / sold do you get all the money for your hard work . I also think its a great way to get these horses a good caring home I just dont understand the whole make over thing is there a video that explains it all ? Also I loved the hassle free way he was loaded onto the trailer , I so want to learn more about this whole mustang thing . Im old now & my horse days are well & truly over but I still love to watch these magnificent animals and the things we can achieve with them with patience and kindness ...I just sub'd to your channel .
Beautiful horse. Hope he's going well for you. Not to be critical but if you're going to put any more unhandled horses in that pen I would consider putting the rails inside the posts, rather than outside. Just a thought.
That corral looks to need a lower rail. I've seen a few horses rolling and get cought under high rails like that. had one a couple years ago that was a neighbors and it died. And your planks are in the wrong side would be very easy to pop them off if he did try to get over it. Not being rude or judgmental just pointing out easy fixes to make your corral safer!

The mane, the neck, the muscle, definitely Andalusian, or Iberian lineage

Even with the previously made point, he doesn't really have the Spanish face.

He was like "Me? Get out? Of the trailer? No, thank you"
"It's dry in here and wet out there. I'm staying here"

If that boy doesn't have Iberian bloodlines, I'd be surprised. Crap, he's gorgeous!
