This young girl was born in 2006, it's crazy right? Her audition on Norway's got Talent was her singing Gloomy Sunday. One of my favorite videos of hers is "I put a spell on you".

Angelina Jordan is amazing and quite exceptional. She won the Norway's Got Talent competition at the age of 8 - she was just 7 years old when she did her audition in the show. She sang "Gloomy Sunday" and blew the judges' minds.
She has a wide range in her voice...very powerful and can be deep. She's the number 1 child talent in Norway since she won contest at 7 yrs old. Many of us love her different styles she can do. Jazz a fav... 40s ..50s..👍💕

Angelina's videos are all great . That voice is so old school jazz like a Billy Holiday style , it's uncanny . But if you really want to hear something mind blowingly great . Watch Angelina's video " I put a spell on you " . You close you eyes and her singing take you back in time like your in some up scale 1930's speak easy . You should really check it out you won't regret it .

Sometimes I just- - I wonder what the rush is from reactors to immediately try to 'pigeonhole' what is unique in the world.
Angelina Jodan's voice and abilities are well beyond those u say she's 'like'...Adele is certainly Adele, just as Lana is Lana; these women's voices are instantly recognizable.
I would never hear Angelina sing, react 2 her talent and dismissively say of her unique voice that she's like a version of either of those female artists u mentioned. Angelina has her own style, and a voice that leaves very few unaffected or unmoved or un-impressed.

She started listening and singing to jazz at almost 2. Won Norway's got talent singing songs like gloomy Sunday, bang bang blowing people away. At 13 she just won golden buzzer on Agt for cover of Queen Bohemein Rapsodey. So well Queen raved about it the next day on twitter. You have been under a rock.

She has alot of family love and support...her mom right with her and showed signs of liking to sing it at one and a half years old.. she liked the music and wants to do it since very young!

Angelina has a pure jazz brain, she has said she loves to browse through the jazz albums in record shops. I heard Ella sing Every Time We Say Goodbye 55 years ago so when this angel sang that I melted.

Nope, that was not "polished". The background music was clearly a professional track. But that's her voice. Angelina is an extraordinary singer. She has a youtube channel with over 120 covers. Enjoy the discovery :-) You've seen nothing yet. Try "this is a man's world", or her unparalleled version of "I put a spell on you". She also has started writing her own songs: try "Shield". And you can always go back to the beginning and see how she conquered everyone on Norway's Got Talent with her amazing rendition of "Gloomy Sunday" (and more recently her unique cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" at America's Got Talent - Champions). did you guys know that ANGELICA and Angelina spent a week together in Vancouver sing for the childres hospital and then had a condo at Whistler ski resort to dki and tobaggan together 2 real role models that became friends for giving back there is a video on youtube of the 2 of them playing snowballs and being kids

Angelina Jordan is a child Prodigy who has been singing since she was a toddler. At the age of 6 or 7, whe won Norway's got talent. I think she is eleven or twelve now. Little Stevie---Steven Van Zandt (not sure I spelled that correctly) saw her, then met with her and she was only like nine or 10 and she appeared on the series he was on because she is so talented. She is all over RUclips.

Angelina's Born to Die was played using the instrumental official song. That is a professional studio recording. She just added her voice to the recording she posted. That is one reason the sound quality in Angelina's recording iin Born to die s so good.
Angelina has invested in a brand new sound system (mic etc.) so they can record her voice with the quality she deserves in her home studio. That also helps with the overall quality. It helps even more that Angelina lately has expanded her lower vocal range. Her voice is richer and she sings with even more confidence now.
Most of her songs are recorded with very little audio help. Usually she only has a guitar player in the room performing together with her. They make the magic happen. You see this e. g. in Stay and A million years.
While I like and appreciate your reaction to Angelina. I didn't really understand most of what you guys were saying. Mainly because you were talking while Angelina was singing. Also because Angelina's singing was loader than your voices. My suggestion would be to wait until what you are reacting to in completed then express your reaction.
In response to one comment that was heard. There are a number of songs that Angelina sings that you can see her sing. I would like to see your reaction to some of those.

she won Norway got talent when she was 9 years old so there is alot of material out there for her you should watch her sing from that show you will be blown away its in Norwegian but with English subtitles really well worth it

David, I'm a die-hard fan of Angelina "cute" Jordan since 2014. I knew, get what are you saying. There are some very talented young singers today. But Angelina Jordan has the rare ability to sing very beautifully while expressing a deep emotional connection with the essence of a song. She creates a unique aura when she sings...Examples are Mary's Boy Child, I'll Be There, Every Time We Say Goodbye, It's Now or Never and so many others. Each one is an incredible gem.

Best I've heard since Karen Carpenter. Karen was better, I think, in the mid to upper registers but of course she was like 25 yrs old and Angelina gets better everytime I hear her sing. She has to make a full album soonest!
