- Jesus Olivares tykittää isoimman yhteistuloksen mitä voimanostossa on klassisessa nostomuodossa ikinä tehty mukaan lukien myös testaamaton puoli. Käsittämätön mies.
Squat 470kg
Bench 272.5kg
Deadlift 410kg
Total 1152.5kg
Jesus Olivares shocks the powerlifting world and he is the new GOAT of powerlifting insane feat of power.

His last deadlift looked better than his second deadlift. Totally deserved.
Truth. He got more legs involved in it.
"No lift". The man lifted it at like RPE 6. Powerlifting can be way too pretentious.
@@TheBcoolGuy it was overturned
@@TheBcoolGuy His grip slipped so they ruled downward motion when they looked it out, thing is it was just his grip and not his body so they overturned it
Happens a lot.
Interestingly 190kg always moves worse for me than 220 or 240.... always. Maybe this Weight just doesnt like me
Man. Just imagine your squat and deadlift alone totaling over 1600 pounds. This guy is 23 and already one of the strongest men in history
500-300-450kg someday
It's over 1900lbs, shit's insane
THE strongest man in raw powerlifting ever.
1600? 🤣 Math eludes you.
@@Thundertepi Bro could completely destroy pl records for the decades to come and then go and win an arnold strongman classic, utter freak of nature
Jesus: Lifts barbell off floor, stands completely upright with no hitching, locks out hips, gets down signal, sets down barbell under control.
Judges: "Yeah that's gonna be a red light from me."
I think it was because at the top his grip on his right hand started to slip
@@brandonb120kg He held on until the down signal and his hand was on the bar all the way down. There shouldn't have been any reds on that last lift.
Politics
He moved his feet during the descent to be fair ipf would have given him 3 reds
@@chickswithdcks1862 you are right but that jumping movement--like Dan Bell's case--very frequently gets good lift.
Jesus is only 24 years old and is displaying strengths like this. If he stays injury free he could total 1200kg. Just unreal what were seeing.
If they can increase money prize even more, he could win almost every year for five years. Pretty much making a living out of it.
@@RawPowerliftingStrength All depends. Plus tbh I dont think he does it for money he does it cause he loves it. i know he made good money from usapl and ipf anyways.
@@Brey Football Players love it too, they get paid millions. This actually turns into a real sport when the lifters get paid.
Wait he is 24, he looks mid 30s.
People watch football because it’s an actual sport, no one will watch powerlifting
One of the craziest shows of raw power in history
Awesome format
His 410 looked like the sets you start with to get the body and muscles pumping 😂
yes

I cant even imagine what 470kg feels like. That is insane.
I wonder if guys like Andy Bolton who have squatted 550kg watch this and go light weight. ahaha
@@philmitchell9413 Andy Bolton probably had 300kg raw with these rules
@@RawPowerliftingStrength All I know is Andy had a 380kg single ply squat. Is this completely raw?
@@philmitchell9413 This is raw, sbd sleeves and belt. the singlet is like tshirt
@@RawPowerliftingStrength Ah okay, understood. I wonder where he will go after this.
Such class for Jesus to not care about the judges and start thanking and shaking the hands of the people who really keep the meet going. Spotters and loaders thank you for making that beast of a man pull off such an amazing total.
100% bet that’s why it was overturned. Not that he didn’t deserve for it to be, but had he not shown that respect I doubt they would have altered it
a powerlifter who does full range of motion on all of his lifts. Impressive! But seriously, some powerlifting judges nowadays ... no lift, red lights, for lifts that are exactly done by the book. I have no idea wtf the problem is.
...and whites for squats that are 3" high
Fuc... sellouts...
I actually yelled "what the fuck!" when I saw his second attempt deadlift live. The speed was insane.
Insane.
@@Thundertepi insane
Insane
fucking insane
@@abc-qe9xq Indeed
I have no idea why he got any red lights. Congratulations to him on the new record.
Lockout i think but, i think it's good.
First deadlift he let go of the bar before it hit the ground, watch it in slow motion. It's hard to see at normal speed, but according to the rules that's technically a failed lift. Last deadlift I suppose there was a moment where he arguably unlocked his knees slightly and leaned back, but I don't see how that should have really invalidated the lift.
@@timorohner9574 Doesn't really matter now since his 399kg/410kg was good, both strength and technically as well.
it is not record
Im biased against anyone from the US competing as absurd calls are too often (always) made in their favor but this guy is 10000% LEGIT , so was his last deadlift , super smooth and easy.
His last deadlift moved so quick he definitely has 10kg more in the tank

Grip
@@budadi ?

I am kidding ofc. 😂
The video is pretty well put together, ngl, prolly one of the best powerlifting meet videos that I've seen so far!
Thanks for kind words :) There are some Powerlifting From Finland videos on my channel also wich may be intresting to you.
This was crazy, from the chanting of his name on that last dl to the overturned decision, getting goosebumps again 😂 definitely coming back to 24
I sort of love that his DL seemed fine to me (what the fuck do I know) and he seemed disappointed by it, but accepted the call. And then BAM, overturned! Homie is the real deal!
Those dead lifts gave me chills how powerful he was
Jesus got the power
😂
sometimes i think the judges hit both buttons at the same time and let fate decide what their decision is
Thank you Jesus!!!! That performance put a smile on my face this rainy Tuesday morning!!! Just WOW, over 1,000, 600, 900. I mean that should be every mans dream!!! So impressed, CONGRATS!!!!
I find it hard to comprehend somebody being that amazing on all 3 lifts. Absolutely mind blowing!
the true meaning of rep for jesus!
incredible lifts. nothing looked like a grind this guy is pure explosion
reallly impresive
Love the announcers enthusiasm. It’s overturned !! It’s overturned !! 👍👍

The third deadlift was the best. There was nothing to think about. Clearly a good Lift.
would be nice to know what happend there..
More legs involved.
@@Thundertepi creating drama/controversy for promotion, i am sure.
My word! This mans' squat was absolutely unbelievable! A well deserved win.
All his lifts are super elite level, even his bench
And to think, he put all bankers in, if he really pushed the squat for 15 more and the deadlift for 35 more, he would both smash Dan Bell's record AND be the first 1200+ total in history!! Go on Jesus, balls to the wall son! 💪💪
470kilograms SQUAT with that clean technique and depth. Man's beyond supernatural!
And RAW.
thanks.. insane lifts.. ConGratulations
Yeah buddy. Light weight. Congrats champion 🏆🏆🏆
Awesome looking lifts.
This guy is phenomenal !!!!!!!!! Does it so clean and simple!!!! Just incredible!!!!!!! Imagine how powerfull he must feel after eating a good beef meat loaf? And a ice cold Coke a cola. Me ,when I used to power lift super heavy, I was so strong after eating beef meat loaf!!!! Good for him, he's got the power!!!! 💪💪👍👍🇨🇦😜😜😜😜😳
one of the best performances i have ever witnessed
The way he walks out before every lift you can see that he knows he’s about to kill it every time
How the heck did that last deadlift get turned down!!!
Feet moved during the descent
It didn’t
@@chickswithdcks1862 this is explicitly allowed in the rule book

This blows me away! Wow!
Amazing. Headed to the gym rn lol
Absolutely amazing to watch!😆
He is one of a kind beast.
Great full squat!
Amazing ,unbelivable😊🎉
His overall strength is so incredible, and he's also very good at conventional deadlift, I would love to see him compete in World's Strongest Man if he's willing to do so.
Google told me that he was born in 1998, which makes him only one year older than me, and he has already become one of the strongest powerlifters the world has ever seen, truly unbelievable and impressive.
I hope not, i want him to stay as tested athlete.
470kg HIGHBAR squat!!! Very, very strong!!
Not highbar. Spend more time in the gym buddy
That's low bar...
Definitely not low bar. Its sitting near the bottom of his traps. For low bar, bar has to be on his rear delts which it isnt. Also look at how upright he stands before he squats. If it was low bar, his back would be angled forward a bit.
@@scotpak100 dude... Spend more time in the gym, for real... This is low bar lmfao

I want to see him doing strongman. He would be great in that
In the deadlift, maybe. Everything else would take years for him to learn the craft. I say stick to what he’s good at.
I'd love to know what the debate was on that last DL it's about the cleanest you would ever see at that weight
Was his red on his final bench attempt for heaving?
He isn’t far off from Dan Bell’s 2606 total. He looks like he had more in the tank on deadlift too!
He did this in the most impressive way in every way possible. Strictest federation, no mono-lift, no deadlift bar, and no drugs. What a stud!
No drugs? Okay bud. They are all juicing lol
Yes he is def natural. I would love to see what he can do ON drugs!

Great lifting.
It's like the "Arnold's" of powerlifting 💯 this is by far the heaviest show I believe I've ever seen

Älytön kaveri! 😎

Probably the best lifting I have ever seen
Haven’t seen much huh?
Vamos campeon!!!
Crazy that in a sport where they have allowed people to bench 1inch for years and then some judges give a red, when the dude is lifting super human weights
🔥🔥
Insane numbers.
Unbelievable that if he had gone for the squat world record and missed it he would still have smashed the overall record. GOAT.
True monster
How do the white and red lights work? Do each represent one judge? As long as 2 are white, it's considered a good lift?
Yes
Really how hard would it be to put the lbs on the screen?
Can someone explain the score with % I have no clue about this sport. Thanks
I do not understand powerlifting. On what grounds did the judges not give that last deadlift? And in fact why did he get a red light on each of the first two deadlifts? He seemed fully locked out to me, but hey I'm a strongman fan not a power lifting fan.
Perfect controll on the deadlift, Perfect lockout, moves to the signals he is given.
Judges:'nahh, thats a no lift to me mate'
They should invite him to the Strongman World Deadlift championship. I really would like to see what he can do with straps when he gives 110%. Probably more than 460+ possible
Well done Congrats :) now " Hafthor Bjornsson" got new Word record to beat!!!
RESPECT!!!!!!
Can we just acknowledge that one of those judges clearly got brought on from the side of the street or something? He had such a long pause on his last bench and they're like "yeah that's a no lift"
He made every lift, except his last squat attempt, look easy. There’s no doubt in my mind he’ll break this total
500-300-450kg someday
John Haack numbers on bench and deadlift. But squat is like a 100 kilos over! Mad respect, sir! 💪
Bodyweight is also close to 100kg over

Why did he deadlift way below his actual strenght? Just to avoid injuries and be sure to get that total record anyway even with less weight?
It never ceases to amaze me how he sinks those squats.. What a beast!
Yes! Refreshing to see some depth after seeing so many high squats elsewhere.
Idk what team was judging his lifts. But every single deadlift was A+
Vau!
I'm from strongman and don't follow powerlifting too much, is this a different category to Dan bell's record total?
Apparently “natural” based on all this dudes fan girls lol
@@elonmusk69forever40 lol OK cheers
How much does he weigh?
Can someone explain me the score percentage please, I didn't understand
For this event they were judging "best lifter" by percentage of the world record total (in international IPF-approved competition). So if the world record total was 1000 and you totaled 1050, you'd score 105%. Usually in powerlifting it's the total itself that determines victory, but the point of Sheffield was for the best lifters from all weight classes to break world records.
Why did his last deadlift get 2 reds at first? It looked perfect. Glad they overturned it.
After he's done with power lifting. Surly works strongest man beckons
