I'm holding SPY (cos I'm using it to sell options). But if you don't need that, the better one is CSPX

selling a 10 delta covered call in 2023 would mean at least 40% of the time u will need to roll or take a loss cos win rate is less than 60%. average profit is about 800 per trade per contract. notice u have 10 contracts...so at least help to mitigate the losses...edited.

Your dcf includes future cashflow mah. Don’t know what you smoking. If Tesla is $100 then makes sense to talk about growth. How you price in $100 above intrinsic that’s crazy.
Tesla can still drop 80 pct and with Elon wanting to dilute shares for robotics there is no reversal.

@@kirnmamameeya that s always how it goes, bears will push it down as far as they can... Buyers will come in thinking the price is low and they will get squeezed down. New bad news will come in after bad news. Analysts will downgrade and come in again and again to downgrade... Exactly the same scenario when the bulls are in control bringing the share to insane level, but in reverse mode. The exact same will happen to the semis when at the top of the cycle...
After watching this video, I still see a logical disconnect that seems quite common with Tesla bulls:
The "upside" coming ahead is related to new products (e.g. "Model 2"), which essentially is the same as for EVERY OTHER CAR MANUFACTURER. e.g. BMW sales will rise when they release an update to a popular model. In other words, this is nothing revolutionary.
At the same time, you are ignoring the fact that Tesla is trading at a HUGE premium compared with other car manufacturers. So how do you 'value' this premium? Why is the market cap of Tesla so much larger than Toyota, for example? In this case, when Tesla becomes an established company (i.e. when the rapid growth tapers off), the automobile business should only represent a small % of the overall business. Does this future look like a certainty ?

How will Tesla overcome the Biden/Trump FSD regulatory hurdle? Think this is one limiting factor
FSD? Google Waymo has been approved for FSD a while now and has been operation robotaxi in select cities. They are in the process of expanding their service. By the time Tesla figures out FSD, Google's Waymo would already dominate the market.
Tesla can also crash if Elon Musk leaves the firm or pass away.
Some questions:
- Tesla has zero capable leader other than Elon?
- Elon was busy with SpaceX, Twitter, Neuralink, Boring Company. How did Tesla function without Elon around?
- Is Tesla fundamentally strong?

Hydrogen car still long way to go. Cost of production of hydrogen as fuel and distribution still very high not forgetting cost of car also not commercially viable.

I mean this is a textbook "buy" situation. Tesla has had technical analysis, rough earnings and the Delaware ruling hammer the stock back to back - it's an unusual aligning of the stars that leads to exaggerated fear, which to me is a much better buying opportunity than the ATH when everyone's excited 🤷♂🤷♂
