She is VERY, VERY, VVVVERY involved. Madonna has written and co produced most of her songs. I don't know if guys know this, but at one point Madonna owned her very own record label called MAVERICK RECORDS, and she personally signed new artists like the DEFTONES, Muse, Candle Box and ALANIS MORISSETTE!
This is a remix of the original song. It was one of two new tracks on her then career-spanning Celebration greatest hits compilation. It’s essentially a throwback to/reboot of Into The Groove, and a composite of classic Madonna sounds. I think Marissa’s comment regarding Madonna’s supreme confidence to be able to embody anything she wants stylistically is extremely insightful! It’s a huge part of what Madonna is all about. She represents so much to so many people, and yet she is often perceived entirely differently by people across the spectrum. Like all true icons, her image (and her voice) are immediately identifiable, and yet how can the woman who made Papa Don’t Preach also sing Celebration, or Material Girl? Madonna is truly epic.
Madonna is a complete artist. She produced and wrote most of her songs, including her biggest hits. Madonna also has solo compositions that reached excellent positions in the music charts. Good examples of songs she wrote herself are Lucky Star and Gambler which reached the top 5 in the US and UK respectively. Her first album is written almost entirely by her: Burning Up, Lucky Star, Think of Me, I Know It, Everybody. Songs she composed entirely.
Great reaction you two! The guy playing the DJ was Madonna's real life boyfriend at the time and his name is Jesus Luz (a model). Another tidbit for you is that her daughter Lourdes is in the group dance scene at the end and she is in polka dots and does a backbend. Thank you for the frequent Madonna reactions. :-)
Madonna is very much involved in producing her music. So much so, that most producers are shocked how knowledgeable she is when it comes to producing. Not only does she write most of her lyrics, but she comes up with melodies and bridges on the spot. Many of her co-producers may present her with a bare bones demo of a song. She'll swoop in and make changes as well as write lyrics on the spot. While she isn't proficient in playing instruments, she still is able to present her own ideas by humming out melodies, etc.
This is one of my favorite Madonna songs. It’s just a fun dance track. This version along with several remixes are on my playlist. Thanks for posting! ✌🏻😉✌🏻
As many others have stated, Madonna has co-written and co-produced almost everything she has recorded since 1985 (cover versions aside). She wrote most of the tracks on her debut album by herself (including "Burning Up", which you reacted to a few weeks ago), but they were produced by others. Ditto for "Like A Virgin", although because most of her early hit singles were written by others (the notable early exception being "Lucky Star", which she wrote by herself), there was a misconception at the time that she wasn't a songwriter. Since "Into The Groove" in 1985, she's barely released anything that she didn't co-write and co-produce (covers aside, as I mentioned earlier). In general, Madonna handles the lyrics and the bulk of the melodies, and her collaborators handle the backing track. For this particular song, her co-writers and producers are on record as saying they presented her with an instrumental, and Madonna then wrote all of the lyrics and the entire melody (so, essentially, everything she sang). She's collaborated with countless people over the years and those who have spoken publicly have commented on how "hands on" she is in the studio during the recording process (in terms of producing the sound), and how the songs are true collaborations. Hope this helps!
I know this isn’t about hair but Marissa’s hair looks AMAZING!!!! I swear I’ve seen Madonna’s look exactly like that before…. And Tyler I like yers that way!!! I’m running if this sounds weird lol Have I not seen u guys for a while or something? Anyway I LOVE this song and vid!!! I play it LOUD on my birthday 👍💙😎👊 Thank you!!!!! Zane
David Foster who is one of the biggest producers of all time co-wrote and co-produced “you’ll see” and “one more chance” with her and he’s said that a lot of artists get a vanity co-producing or writing credit but that wasn’t the case with her. She was heavily involved and was there everyday working on the record with him.
As everyone says, yes. And you can’t be around this long without being involved. No one would give “an old lady” new music. And yes, Tyler. She a control freak! 😂
There is also a “fan version” official video for this song. It has the same vibe, but here you see Madonna fans (some dressed as Madonna). It’s funny! Daughter Lourdes in a wedding dress as her mom from LIKE A VIRGIN is adorable ❤
Great reaction. This song came out when I was about to finish highschool. So many good memories. Btw Madonna is always involved in writing her songs. She has control over everything lol
I'm not keen on the video clip since i expected something more 'monumental' and retro flavoured possibly with a tapestry/collage of past Madonna famous moments or smth .But the song is in my top 10 from her.Irresistably groovy with a nostalgic '80s glorious sense in the likes of "Into the grove',"Spotlight',etc.Grrreat instrumentation too.I just looove this kind of Madonna music
It would be great for you to look up the interviews with William Orbit on how Madonna worked with him on Ray of Light. Also how Madonna came up with Live To Tell with Patrick Leonard. The stories are all over the internet and some Madonna podcasts
Yes, she is totally involved and give totally herself in all what she does Now you should react to THE Madonna's 80s club song: Into the groove! to see the evolution!
The album version of this track, if you liked the synth aspect, is by far the better version imho. There's another remixed version of Celebration feat. Akon that's also fire! Love your reactions, keem 'em coming!!! Album version: ruclips.net/video/MYTf2TNyxrk/видео.html Remix feat. Akon ruclips.net/video/Ytk2unXjR7g/видео.html
Should consider checking out her interviews, particularly the 90’s for insight into her creative process. Her approach differs from project to project but she is generally very much in control of the output. For instance Words and Music is a great look into the creative process behind the Ray of Light album.
Also, at the time, the DJ was her boyfriend, his name is Jesus Lutz and he’s a model. Her daughter is in the original video.yes, Madonna produces her own music, writes and complete control of everything she puts out. She has a near genius IQ and is like a sponge, knowing how to arrange songs. If you read interviews with musicians, writers and producers she’s worked with, they will tell you she’s one of the most knowledgeable artist they’ve worked with.
Madonna writes, produces almost all of her music. She has also contributed to several other artists music as well. She has worked with Prince, Babyface and countless others. There are interviews where co-writers have a melody, she will go in another room and come out with an entire song. Look up interviews with Patrick Leonard.
celebration was part of my childhood, it's one of the most forgotten songs by her lol and I think it's kind of unfair because he's great at what he does: TO DANCE AT A PARTY! TO CELEBRATE
This is the Benny Benassi remix and IMO way better than the original version. Just brilliant! She looks amazing on this video and love the freestyle choreo! Very M.
The DJ is her ex boyfriend. They were dating at the time. She co-wrote/produced this during the sticky and sweet tour in 2009 and was the lead single for her compilation album released later that year named, Celebration.
Oh, I wish you'd also check out the album verskion, it's so much better and poppier in my opinion. I just couldn't stop listen to it when the "Celebration" album came out and was so disappointed with this single mix. A party song for ME is this original: ruclips.net/video/GYQsTvaPraE/видео.html
Harassed DJ was her then-22-yr.-old Brazilian underwear model/boyfriend, Jesus Luz- whom she began dating @50, after her divorce from Guy Ritchie. Madonna likes collaboration & co-writes everything. She admits that’s one thing she disliked about her earlier career- kinda having to do more as you’re told, because you’re still new . . .
Hi, Tyler! I love your reaction videos. Can you please react to BTS funny moments too? It will help to get to know them better. Their funny personalities just makes them more loveable!
She writes, produces, plays instruments, & executive produces everything that is Madonna. She is the brains behind the empire. Her way, or no way.
She is VERY, VERY, VVVVERY involved.
Madonna has written and co produced most of her songs.
I don't know if guys know this, but at one point Madonna owned her very own record label called MAVERICK RECORDS,
and she personally signed new artists like the DEFTONES, Muse, Candle Box and ALANIS MORISSETTE!
That's really cool! I had no idea she owned her own record label
@@marissa6805 One of the first singers she signed up on Maverik Records was Alanis Morrisett (whose album Jagged Pill was a mega hit).
She co writes and produces almost every song she does
She's actually VERY much involved in the production of her music ;)
This is a remix of the original song. It was one of two new tracks on her then career-spanning Celebration greatest hits compilation. It’s essentially a throwback to/reboot of Into The Groove, and a composite of classic Madonna sounds.

She writes all of her own music, and co-writes/collaborates as well.
She produces, writes, co-produces 99% of her songs. People don't give her enough credit.
Cant wait for the CONFESSIONS TOUR reaction!
Madonna is a complete artist. She produced and wrote most of her songs, including her biggest hits. Madonna also has solo compositions that reached excellent positions in the music charts. Madonna is the first female artist to have 100% say and earning power. She makes bank on every level of artistry to technical
The live version of this from her MDNA TOUR is EVERYTHING.
She’s the full package . It’s funny how even after all this time people don’t realise . She’s that special person
This is one of my favorite Madonna songs. It’s just a fun dance track. This version along with several remixes are on my playlist. Thanks for posting!
✌🏻😉✌🏻
Madonna writes co writes and co produces everything she has released
Madonna is the Queen of Pop 🌟 👑
Thank you for your excellent reaction❤❤
You guys really need to react to her live tour performances. That's what she's known for
I've always loved just how smart and articulate Marissa comes across in your videos.
Thanks!
She is a control freal so yes she is very involved in anything she does

The girl who does the back walkover at the end is Madonna's daughter. PLEEAAASSSE do Madonna's live performances. You will be blown away!
She is the co-producer of her entire music. She writes, composes and produces everything.
She is involved in all aspects of all her work. She is also involved in all the remixes. She writes produces . Good question.
I know this isn’t about hair but Marissa’s hair looks AMAZING!!!! I swear I’ve seen Madonna’s look exactly like that before…. And Tyler I like yers that way!!! I’m running if this sounds weird lol
Have I not seen u guys for a while or something?
Anyway I LOVE this song and vid!!! I play it LOUD on my birthday 👍💙😎👊

Thanks, Zane! Your comments always make me smile :)
I love this song too! Some great remixes also.

You guys definitely need to react to some of her live performances, speeches and interviews.
❤Madonna, and u two are adorable!
As everyone says, yes. And you can’t be around this long without being involved. No one would give “an old lady” new music. And yes, Tyler. She a control freak! 😂
Will you guys PLEASE react to her live performance of “Future Lovers/I Feel Love?” It will blow your minds.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
There is also a “fan version” official video for this song.

Daughter Lourdes in a wedding dress as her mom from LIKE A VIRGIN is adorable ❤
She writes her own songs and co write as well
The fan version of this MV is THE BEST. With her daughter Lolla dressing like her.
"Medellín", "Bitch, I'm Madonna" or "Give Me All Your Luvin" are funny/entertaining videos with catchy songs.
Great reaction. This song came out when I was about to finish highschool. So many good memories. Btw Madonna is always involved in writing her songs. She has control over everything lol
How involved is Madonna? She is the boss! She build her own empire with her own power.
Thanks, Marissa! Thanks, Tyler! 🎉 #TylerCreatesContent #Celebration #Madonna
Do your Home work, Madonna is involved 100 percent....

This was old school dance techno but very much infused with M signature melody, produced with the legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold.
Must to watch the live version in the mdna tour for this song
Madonna is THE ONLY QUEEN that matters. Queen of Pop!
The editing of this video is really crazy. The movements of the dancers and Madonna were accelerated and this made the video funny.
Yes, she is totally involved and give totally herself in all what she does
Now you should react to THE Madonna's 80s club song: Into the groove! to see the evolution!
Madonna is very involved in her music. She produces. She writes. She plays instruments. And much more actually. She is that legend!!
The album version of this track, if you liked the synth aspect, is by far the better version imho. There's another remixed version of Celebration feat. Akon that's also fire! Love your reactions, keem 'em coming!!!

This is a remixed version of original song release. I love the original version. Both are good.

The dj is Jesus luz. He was her boyfriend at the time!
She always selects her co producers too
The Dj on the video is Jesús Luz, a Brazilian model who was her boyfriend in that time...and one of the dancing girls is her daughter Lola
Madonna writes, produces almost all of her music. She has also contributed to several other artists music as well. She has worked with Prince, Babyface and countless others. The “DJ” in the video is Madonna’s boyfriend at the time: Jesus! Yes, that’s his name lol Madonna and Jesus.
Madonna
Is
🔥🔥👍
I’ve always preferred the original studio version over the remix of this song.
I don't know if you've noticed, Madonna is a very strong woman and she is the master of her own career.
Nothing gets by Madonna without her say so.
celebration was part of my childhood, it's one of the most forgotten songs by her lol and I think it's kind of unfair because he's great at what he does: TO DANCE AT A PARTY! TO CELEBRATE
Check out Madonna’s “Jump” video!
Amazing as always... NOW Give It 2 Me feat. Pharrell (Official Video) 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This is the Benny Benassi remix and IMO way better than the original version. Just brilliant! She looks amazing on this video and love the freestyle choreo! Very M.

Congrats dude. U come from your cae to real world
Watch the live performance of this song, it’s amazing!
#Sticky&SweetTour ❤️ #MegaMichiganMadonnaFan84
ITS MADONNA OF COURSE SHES IN CHARGE
the dj was her boytoy at this period :)
You must see life madonna .. the confessions tour the best tour ever..❤ masterpiece
That was a BOYTOY of hers at the time....Her daughter Lourdes is also in the video
This choreography was in late 80’s too. In the 90’s. Gif n shall I go the whole hog and say it’s 1920’s onwards.
the end of the song sounds like a party streamer that you blow into lol
*Madonna - Trust No Bitch* - great song, check it
She's one of the best female songwriters of all time, and she doesn't get the credit for it. All people see is controversy
I never cared for this music video but I love this version of Celebration more though but both are cool
hello, this is the remix version , the original version is different.
This is a remix. I prefer the original version from the album.
Fun fact the DJ in the video was her then boyfriend...lucky girl 😂😮😊
Oh, I wish you'd also check out the album verskion, it's so much better and poppier in my opinion. I just couldn't stop listen to it when the "Celebration" album came out and was so disappointed with this single mix. A party song for ME is this original: ruclips.net/video/GYQsTvaPraE/видео.html
More Madonna

She is a genius literally, guys. Her IQ is 140, so that explains her evolving, game changing, career.
Not aure if there is a video. but Thief of Hearts is definately worth a listen - one of her "well constructed": songs aye!
Did they hear the album version?
Harassed DJ was her then-22-yr.-old Brazilian underwear model/boyfriend, Jesus Luz- whom she began dating @50, after her divorce from Guy Ritchie.
Madonna likes collaboration & co-writes everything.
She admits that’s one thing she disliked about her earlier career- kinda having to do more as you’re told, because you’re still new . . .
Do Revolver please!! ❤ you guys!
The DJ was her boyfriend at the time. 😊
React to Medellín please
Please react to Madonna "Paradise" (not for me).
Could you please react to American pie. And yes she’s involved in the whole process but she doesn’t do 100% on her own tho
The original version is so much better than this annoying remix.
You couldn't say it better..
I like the remix, but the original version is better.
This is a remix for the video ....i love better the original...
Very involved. Very controlling and rightfully bc it's her music. Past cowriters have said she's 50/50
could you listen to bts no more dreams or black swan
this was a remix, not the original version. The original version is 100 x better!!
This sounds like remix and not the actual single. I prefer the single version better.
First time listening to Madonna? Did you live in a cave?
Hi, Tyler! I love your reaction videos. Can you please react to BTS funny moments too? It will help to get to know them better. Their funny personalities just makes them more loveable!
