- Finished up the custom scheme on my Freewing AL-37 recently and decided to throw together a quick edit of some recent flights both from the drone and the ground cam.
I love the way she flies both in the low speed regime and high. More space is needed in order to fly it as the turns cover a lot of ground, but it's well worth it!
As with any delta wing, it will bite you if you get uncoordinated too slow, but a simple input of opposite rudder with neutral aileron while unloading the wing (tad of forward pressure) brings everything right back to center.
Enjoy!
Didn't expect a high alpha pass lol
That was the gamechanger that made me buy one.
Nice thumbnail! Best AL-37 pilot out there! 100X better than the motionrc sponsored guys 🤣
I'm betting they didn't do a snap roll!
Excellent camera work with the quad, too. Some of the best I've ever seen. The landing shot was a classic.
And now they actually have 737MAXs
Whoever made that bird is a true legend with his hands
Love the Alaska livery! I’d love to do something similar or another livery. Where’d you get the graphics done?
Callie Graphics.com
What color and brand of paint did you use for the blue and gray? I'm doing mine in Alaska as well and cannot match the colors.
How much did it cost? 💲
Where can i get one?!?!?
Nice aircraft, nice manouevre, nice colour & nice video. Thanks to the pilot & drone crew for this video. But for the pilot, your control is not stable. The aircraft bend left-right many time. Don't u feel pity to the passengers ?😂😀
That’s called the infamous “dutch roll” tendency of many smaller rc swept wing aircraft. Gyros will help eliminate it in the same way a yaw damper would with full scale, but we didn’t use a gyro.
👏👏👏...👌
Great flying! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🇵🇷😷
Nice
