@ivandrago5891 to Q's defense D Miles was the one who brought it up this time 😂😂😂. Even for Stephen Jackson in the Richard Hamilton All the Smoke interview, it was Rip who said "I think stack won MVP of the game!" and to that Jackson started laughing and said "he the 2nd one" which referenced rip being the 2nd after Kobe who thought Jackson won it.
Damn, you can hear in his voice the struggle he went through during his injury. But you can also tell how mentally strong he became after he persevered. I love hearing the middy legends story!
I cannot even find the words to describe how I feel about him. He is the one and only reason, I even became a Warriors fans. I loved the team that gave him a second chance to play. He played and he played well. So many things he did there that never showed up on a stat sheet. He, will always remain my favorite player. I stayed loyal to the warriors when he left because at this time I loved Steph Curry of course. I miss Shaun Livingston tremendously though. I always will.
7:46 Q Rich is absolutely right about Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collision. I remember in the NBA Rookie all star game a player tried to punk Kirk by doing an And One move by throwing it off Kirk's forehead....Kirk didn't play that and was ready to put hands on that man. When i saw that.....i said " This ain't your typical white boy" Now it makes total sense.
I was so happy when he was getting runs in BK. The perseverance is something we all can relate to. His time in GS was like icing on the cake. Glad he was able to keep fighting. Shoutout to his bro for speaking God’s word into his heart .
Joey Range and Rod Thompson... Galesburg.. Love the Range shout out.. Dude was the best basketball player I've ever seen in person..That IHSA tourney that season was loaded... Q with Whitney Young, Gates, Henry..., Galesburg, Fenwick with Maggette, Maine West with Lucas Johnson and Kevin Fry.... Loaded.... Had King with Leon Smith and Sawyer...

All seriousness i never seen this dude miss a middy in any warriors games i used to watch 😭😭. Certified bucket I hope he’s doing well physically and mentally!
@@TraitsofGreatness bro go on google and search up “Shaun Livingston mid range percentage” and it shows he went 1309/1309 even google knows he don’t miss😭😭😭😭
Shaun Livingston was a great rotation player with the Warriors but even if he'd comeback to be mid after that injury it would've been amazing. It hurt me just seeing it. I have so much respect for his journey.
When they do the warriors dynasty movie or documentary his injury is where it should start. Along with the drafting of Steph and Clay. One of those what if moments made it possible for warriors to take a change on him and he was one of the key pieces
the warriors dont become what they became without shaun. there were stretches in tight games where the starters are bleeding points, the bench comes in and it felt like shaun was gnna go to the post and u knew he wasnt gnna miss down there. there were stretches when the starters were hot, defenses were watching klay and steph putting em up and knew shit was goin in no matter how ridiculous the shot. steph and klay go to the bench, shaun come in and hes automatic from midrange. shauns perseverance really is a lesson to everybody. he couldve been cynical after the injury seeing how teams were treating him
Duke fan here - I'm a couple of years younger than Shaun, and I will never forget his HS mixtape was one of the first I ever saw. Before RUclips or anything like what we have now. I was SO hype to have him team up with our squad that was coming off the F4 the year before. That said, I totally get why he went pro - it was clearly the right decision. I followed his career since then, and I could not agree with Q and D-Miles more. Dude had a great career and I will always view him as an 'honorary' member of The Brotherhood. This was a great conversation!
lol he is from Peoria, not no dam Kankakee… his aunt lived down the street from us on 4th street in the early 70s, you knew when he was in town cause everyone had crisps 50s🤣
