Beginning Fiddle Bow Technique

Here's how to hold the bow, and some bowing exercises for getting started with playing the fiddle. And extra points if you are Mike's great niece and nephew who asked him to make this video. ;)

When I began playing the violin I wanted to jump right in to playing notes on the fingerboard. I soon got frustrated with the poor quality sounds that emanated far too often.
