Dmax 2022 Upgrades (What and Why)

While in Perth, WA attending to medical treatments it was an ideal time to get a few DMAX upgrades done, we have time on our hands so why not use it productively.
Some are mechanical jobs and some are just plain "nice to have" jobs.
Watch and see what you think and if they would benefit your lifestyle and DMAX set up

Hi guys good to see you are still making video's I own a 2021dmax twincab iam towing a20ft van dmax tows very well but loves hanging on 5th while towing I've seen your auto up grade how does your dmax tow after the valve body upgrade love your video's hope everything goes smoothly with Lee 👍

Thank you for your kind comments. The valve body upgrade was good, and we are glad we did it. We tow a heavy off road single axle, and my driving style is very mechanically sympathetic. I find 5 won’t hold unless it’s going down hill, so I pretty much get to 4 and leave it there. I set cruise control and keep my speed at between 80-85 kph. Thus keeps the rpm at about 2200. Hope this helps. Remember not all will agree on how I drive, but that’s totally fine.

Nice vid. But pretty sure you'll find those Front Runner boxes are neither water or dust proof. They're good, I love mine, just not really dust proof

Hi I love your videos mate, just a question how did you manage to fit your Stedi led high beams. I have the Stedi led low and high beam for a 2017 Dmax. I was able to fit the low beam but the high beams are not a secure fit as the oem bulb. It doesn’t lock in. Is there anyway an help me out.

I have a 2019 and I had no issues with securing both high and low beam
Bulbs and my 2019 projector headlight units. Suggest a call to stedi. Thank you for your kind words

? what is the 2way and aerial your running on the DMAX..any problems or dramas with it..

A stock standard XRS GME two way and we chose the shorter aerial. Works well and have had no problems with either. After the Gibb River Road the aerial did loosen but tightening the screw solved that
