Charleston and Savannah (Southern Belles of the USA)
On our visit to the East Coast of the USA we couldn't miss out on visiting these iconic southern belles of cities. We loved the atmosphere the old worldy towns and cities. We ventured into their history by visiting a Plantation in Charleston and the waterfront area of Savannah.
The old quaintness of these cities have been maintained and the homes and buildings are stunning, if the walls could talk.
We tried seafood in a small town called McClellanville, SC on our way into Charleston, and also had a crab boil at Tybee Island on our way into Savannah, both were delicious and well worth trying, the meals where huge so we shared.
Hope you enjoy our little adventure as much as we did,
take care

Blue Ridge Parkway - USA
Просмотров 1016 месяцев назад
We have heard so much about the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, we had to do it or at least as much as we could given the bridge and tunnel heights on the south end of the Parkway. Beautiful scenery, well located and appointed state and national park campgrounds. We started in Virginia at Shenandoah National Park on the Skyline Drive - this connects at the south end to the Blue Ridge Parkway. check ...
Where have we been in 2023 (few video's only posted)
Просмотров 1457 месяцев назад
We've had a big 2023 with our travels in the USA, we didn't do a lot of individual site/cities filming, it was time for recovering, getting our Mojo back and catching up with friends and family. that in itself took most of our energies. We did have a wonderful year - and we have done a compilation video of what we did from April to September, and then we pickup on our filming and recording our ...
Salt Lake City (Utah Capital)
Просмотров 115Год назад
We had a real adventure in Salt Lake City, visiting the city centre and the Tabernacle Centre, Capital Hill and Antelope Island. We had a huge variety of weather - snow, wind and sunshine all in a week. Rob and Robert had a boys afternoon out, and a few visits to Black Rifle Coffee - the original store. Robert gave an Australian Badge to the store to put on their wall of honour. It was a wonder...
Southern Utah (and much much more)

We had some short stops through the southern region of Utah, such places as Kanab, Capitol Reef, Escalante, Goblin Valley State Park. I thought this combined video would be a great way to showcase the area and diversity of the southern Utah region, We loved all our stops and couldn't say which we like more. They are all different and all spectacular - put these and more on your Utah To Do list.
Lee's Ferry and Marble Canyon (Arizona)

We've heard so much about this area and wanted to visit for the longest time, our trip planner finally got us here... Lee's Ferry is a campsite, boat ramp and old settlement along the Colorado River near Page, AZ. Majestic Monument Valley (Utah and Arizona)

What a stunningly beautiful landscape, the Navajo Nation have a long history here and it shows in the way they care for the area. There is a unsealed road through the valley that you can drive yourself, we didn't take the motorhome and glad we didn't but any car would be fine. They limit the number of vehicles on the road during peak seasons - we were here in winter so that wasn't a problem. We...
Majestic Grand Canyon (Williams, AZ)
Просмотров 72Год назад
We have seen the Grand Canyon in Arizona by staying in the National Park Campground (a short shuttle drive away), this time we thought it would be fun to catch the train from Williams (old Route 66 fame). The Grand Canyon Railway was in disuse for many years and a local William's man bought the track and the old trains in the mid 1970's and renovated them at great expense and reopened the line ...
Ajo, AZ (Organ Pipe Cactus National Park)

We so enjoy the National and State Parks, for their space, quiet and of course the nature they are located in and around. This park is only 5 miles from the Mexico Border, and this is a special location where these Organ Pipe Cactus grow so we wanted to see them plus the Saguaro cactus are in abundance here too. It is a very pretty part of Arizona and well of the beaten track, the campground is...

In 2019 we met a wonderful couple while travelling to Alaska, we kept in touch and visited them in their winter wonderland of Safford Arizona. We are doing this trip to revisit our friends from the first trip to the USA 2019-2020. We spent a week at Roper State Park (Arizona State Park) which we loved last time and it was just as good this time. Keith and Linda have shown us a wonderful visit t...

This is a State Park we have planned to visit for some time, the campground is excellent, plenty of space between sites and has shower/bathroom facilities and some sites have power and water. It was classed as 'easy' and we agreed but there i...

We planned, organised and arranged for months, then on December 26th 2022 we started our journey back to the USA via Japan, which was an excellent route and ANA Airlines are so efficient, clean and comfortable. While travelling across the North of Australia we made a wonderful stop at Undarra Experience, the campsite is excellent - not a lot of trees but all other facilities are great. We had a wonderful time in Normanton and Karumba. Some folks told us that there was nothing to do in Normanton, we had a busy couple of days, we went to the Burke and Wills Camp 119, we visited the railway museum and Gulflander train (very historical) and enjoyed the township. Off to Karumba - dirt or sealed roads!!! we were told both - well we are delighted to let you know it is sealed all the...

yep, decided to replace my springs this year. I only had the Morryde suspension in for just over a year maybe 4000 miles. My bushings are much the same as this. Makes me wonder if the nylon bushings may be better as they would bend around the distorted spring eyes. With grease in them they could last? I do like the Morryde suspension, but with cheap way rv's are manufactured, I'm not surprised they didn't last long.
