Any truck driver trying to work out on the road,so much respect for them.Cauz the most of the time you don’t feel like doing nothing after a long drive.
Luv seeing a solid dude get down with the business and using that peanut brain. Only one place to learn this kinda stuff. I drive a 2023 freightliner cascadia myself. Shout out from the WOODPILE. Get down homie
I'm a rookie trucker and I like to see these videos and get motivate and finding new ways to workout around the truck. Heck yeah!! Thanks for the motivation!!
I’ve always wanted to do pull-ups. That’s a pretty good way to do it. I do my workout using an adjustable workout bench and two quick adjustable dumbbells.
I can tell you’ve done prison time… you’re creative and you use your surroundings to your advantage. I remember doing pull-ups off the steps to the top tier. Good video man, I’m in a cascadia as well and I will definitely be using this method.
I was thinking the exact same thing. A lotta fights don’t have to go down. It’s like road ragers. It takes two to tango. You gotta be of the mind if someone disrespects you, you’re gonna deal with it. If somebody disrespects me I’m not going to fight them unless they force it. I’d rather thank God I don’t have to be like them crying over spilt milk at the drop of a hat. Let the jerks be jerks. There’s always a bigger jerk to deal with them.
I just got put into one of these Cascadias as well. I've been trying to figure out how to mount a bracket off the back of the cab that I could screw a bar into. Never thought of doing it inside. Honestly, I haven't really liked the sleeper and thought it was a big waste of space, but after watching this vid, I'm seeing a lot of new possibilities. Thanks! I'd still like to try and get my bar-mount on the back. I'd like to use it for pull ups, dips, and maybe hang a bag from it for cardio.
Nice job Brother! That's exactly what I'm looking at for my new Freightliner. I used to have a swing out, pull up bar on my load lock rack . Just doesn't work with the new truck. I'm glad you tested the weight for me!
Absolutely Fuqn great idea for those pullups. Never even thought about this. I usually do pushups on the top bunk. And i have a upright stationary bike in the truck. Im stealing ur pullup idea😁
Great video man. Love your attitude. If the truck doesnt allow you to workout, you quit... that's right!! I've been wanting to get into trucking but what's stopping me is that I wont be able to work out as well anymore. I'm afraid I'll lose a lot of muscle.
Great video man straight to the point no BS I’m gonna set this up in my team truck but it’ll put pipe straps down so it doesn’t move around when we’re driving appreciate the video brotha 💪
I've known several drivers that installed something similar to this in their truck. Pull ups, push ups, squats and some power walking around the truck stop is better then nothing.
Beautiful brother I do exercises to but I run 🏃♂️ 2 hours around my truck or in any open space because it’s killing me sitting for long time and there is people just eat and sit and drive and sleep I don’t know how they do it like that do nothing only driving sometimes they do have a time but they just lazy. Keep it going brother good shit
Thanks for this vid. I'm trying to get a trucking job right now and one of my biggest concerns was how I was still going to be able to do my pull-ups because they are a major part of my routine (I do them 6 days a week).
Nicely done! Would it help to glue the felt pads to the planks? Or even better, velcro them on both sides, and also velcro the planks contact area, and also around the bar. They sell the heavy duty velcro strips with self-adhesive tape at any Walmart, pretty much. Keep it up ! 👍

My health is really important to me too-
Hello sir.... there's a spot in the back, where u put load locks. U definitely could put a 45lbs bar. U could also keep a good your weight/plates in front of your passenger seat. 8 don't know about 500lbs though. Remember u have to go through scales. 500lbs could put you over and get you a ticket... I bench would be tricky. Maybe if it came apart, u could put 8t up, in your top bunk.... remember. U will be exhausted at the end of your shift, and every second counts. U have to work out, eat, and sleep.... it's not easy to do this life style while trucking, but it is possible.... You will have to get familiar with the truck, and see what u can pull off... I have just found, that the prison workout accommodate the trucking life. Pull-ups, dips and burpees. And a high fat high protein low carb, organic kosher diet. I include the kosher because I'm a jew.... It would be extremely hard, putting things together, like a weight bench, getting the weights out, etc.... it's possible, but that takes a lot of time. U differently should get your CDL. try the life style. After 6 months u will know what works for u and what doesn't....
Would this work for someone who is 6’4” with some long arms? How much room do you have below your knees when your arms are extended with your wide grip?
I think if your legs are folded it would work. I could also put wooden blocks on the shelves, under the bar to raise the bar higher. I'm 5'10" and it ps high enough 4 me.
Yes... give me a few days, and I'll make a couple videos just for.... I'll show u what I eat, and I'll do a video on diet advice, when 2 eat, when not to eat, etc... Also, here's my email... gypsyjew60@gmail.com I'm giovani. I'll straighten u out....
