I sent an email to Bullbar for the return, but it doesn't exist. Luckily, the chat on the website is up and running so they were able to send me the return label. They did mention they have a few bars that had the same issue as mine regarding the bar breaking on top, so they are looking into that for future orders (just in case you want to wait a little bit for them to fix it). In the end, I wasn't happy with: It breaking The twist locks/anchors Padding on the handles The concept is really cool, but some additional improvements would go a long way. Had mine about a week and had the same issue with the bar that you had. Not sure why both sides of the bar aren't welded to the brackets. Contacted support and they're sender out a replacement piece. If that fails, I'll probably be returning mine as well.
@@GamerBody got about 4 ueses out of it. Went to use the dip bars and the bolt slipped out of the pull-up bar. Both of the washers on the sleeve nut basically just fell apart and caused it to seperate. We'll see how long the replacement part lasts. May even just weld it myself.
There’s a 2.0 version out. I just ordered. Looks like it’s addresses the major issues. Pulled the trigger and we’ll see. Doesn’t ship till next month though.
@@GamerBody Sure. I assume it's still in production because it ships on January 10. They have a video demonstration on their website, and it appears they replaced the annoying screw-in latches with clamp-on latches and pins which appears it would be a quicker assembly. I hope they offer replacement pins as I can see those being quickly lost. It looks like the bar is more secure, but can't say for sure. Taking the risk. It will suck if it's a dud because it will be a pain for me to send it back from Korea. They don't ship to military APO (it's still USPS), so I had to have it shipped to an APO forwarding service, which will cost me another $100. Lol.
Hmm I'll keep that in mind. I wish they improved the locking clamps as I really didn't like those in the original. Definitely a cool concept though, and with upgrades, could be something really special.
The 2.0 looks AWESOME! However, I'm gonna wait until the reviews start coming in, before I set myself back $350. I hope it lives up to its promise, because it would be PERFECT for my needs!
Just ordered it too, its been a while that I did calisthenics. didnt get to watch the reviews on he previous version (1.0), just now. I hope those get resolved in the 2.0 version (mine says it will be shipped Feb 15)
Thanks for the review, as always. This makes me happier I bought the Ironmaster Bench and attachments based on your review. Much more expensive upfront but I have had no issues with that setup.
I think your review is pretty on point, I got in on the Kickstarter , waited a year for mine, and when I finally got it after about a week of using it, broke at the same location as well. I brought this to the company’s attention, and all they did was send me a couple of those inserts to replace the one that failed (I’m sure the second one they sent was for the other side when it fails.
Not right now, but keeping an eye on it. While I think the new version wouldn't break as my old one did, they didn't make any changes to some of the stuff I did not like the first time around (based on what I can tell). But, I will keep it as an item for a potential future product.
Can you do a squat & split squat video using the resistance band hooks/loops at the bottom of the new & improved Bullbar 2.0? If possible can you also include the GEKU bamboo platform and your “The Step” aerobics platform to see which one will fit better in between the resistance band hooks? Bullbar told me the hooks/loops @ the bottom are between 22 or 23 inches apart from each other. I would really appreciate the video. Thank You
Thanks for the idea. I returned the Bullbar ages ago (after the bar broke) and I have not purchased the 2.0 version because I am not a fan of the price for it right now. It is still on a "potential" product list of mine, but right now I am not getting it as I have another option arriving today Im looking to test and make a review on that is similar.
@@GamerBody I’m thinking that there is zero chance of getting that BaseBlocks Big Bar in your closet. Thanks for the review on this one though. I've been looking into that as well. The problem is the base, when folded, is just slightly too big for my closet, but maybe if I put it in its side it would fit.

I ordered one of these a few months ago and received it last week. Unfortunately, it arrived broken; the hinge on one of the uprights had sheared. I emailed them and didn't get a response for 7 days. It's probably a decent product, but it would take up too much room for me (as I can't take it down and put in closet). If you have the space it looks like a decent product.
For anyone who wants a different perspective from another Bullbar user, I actually disagree and fully recommend it. It is now my go-to machine for daily calisthenics and I have put TONS of reps on it at 235lbs and it’s still going strong. I think it is perfect for anyone who 1) does not have a ton of space for a home gym and wants the flexibility of getting it out of the way when needed. I don’t think there’s any other pull-up bar that can do that, and 2) being able to do pull-ups and dips anywhere. I have a friend who also got one and would often do his workouts poolside before the weather started to turn. Doing things like Murphs outdoors is something I look forward to with it. Also, I’m not really sure why it took so long to set up. Honestly, after figuring out the latches, it’s 1 minute tops to set up or take down come on now!😂😂😂. It does suck that yours had that defect but at least they backed it up and offered you a new one👍👍👍

I think they have made improvements. Mine was an earlier launch product so I think it should be better now. Upsetting mine broke though.
Pretty cringe and pathetic flexing so hard in the cover photo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Probably, can't remember anymore.
I knew it was gonna be a pos.
Good thought to start, but needs a lot of changes for me to want to use it fully.
@@GamerBody thanks for the review bro.
No thanks looks cheap and flimsy.
It may have improved since the one I got was a very early review one. It still needs some work from what I have seen, but it has the right idea.
The amazing part of this video is your patients with this thing. I would be far to inpatient using this thing even with a small space haha.
Yeah, it was getting pretty annoying with the anchors and setting up/taking down. I wish you just lifted it and it locked in place.
You ever gonna buy a squat rack??/ barbell. Feel like your limiting your potential, can’t load any of these movements too heavy especially lower body
I do not plan on it. Main reason is I don't have a place for it. I could use my garage, but it gets VERY hot here in TX in the Summer, even at night. I also have good results without them, so I don't feel a need for it.
With that said, I did just buy the Trainer+ from Vitruvian which is an AI-mechanical system which should allow for regular squats and such. It is still shipping over, but I'll have a review on that when it arrives.
@@GamerBody fair enough you’ve clearly made great gains anyways, just found your channel definitely gonna sub
