For the first time I’m disagreeing w you guys, love you guys to bits, but I’m an agoraphobe and I’m working on it currently. Never gotten money from the gov, slowly whittling down my savings, trying my hardest to go back outside. I used to go out a bit loved the bars and socializing etc, I miss it and it’s a huge anxiety disorder, it’s hard for me to get to a doctor because agoraphobia makes car rides hell. You guys are my favorite but that bit made me upset, I’d give anything to not have agoraphobia.

I got attacked by a dog when I was 3 and it tried to rip my lip off. I had to have plastic surgery to repair it and still have (luckily) small scars. But I love dogs and I’m so glad it didn’t make me afraid of them for the rest of my life. I have 2 dogs now.
New to the podcast so I was worried for the guy who didn't move for like 20 minutes. Only found out his webcam wasn't on so then I found out there isn't five people on the podcast
I understand the dogfree subreddit. I don't like dogs. I think they smell bad, they bark too loud, and many people don't take adequate care of their pets. I don't like it when people make that their problem. The dogfree sub is for people with similar minds to convince themselves they aren't crazy, which some dogfree people are.
It's this weird attitude that animals are godly because they don't have the flaws and nuances that humans have. Which is hilarious. And I like dogs, cats, etc. I dunno why people try to force whatever they believe is right on whoever feels differently
Very bad precedent to have Charlie call them losers. There are many good reasons to hate dogs (i.e. permanent child disfigurements). Honestly they are a defective product, like Lawn Darts, that hasn't been recalled yet.

I got attacked by a dog when I was about 8 too, took a long time to meet a dog that helped me get over the fear. Ripped up one of my only pairs of trousers (very poor child too)
I'm glad I met a nice dog around 16, now I love them like a normal person.
Being permanently mutilated is a good reason to hate dogs and it's not fair to be called losers because of it

By the by, guys, don't know if this is ever useful to any of you but Stackoverflow is a good place to ask tech related questions and most of the time they don't show up on a google search so you have to manually go onto their website and type in your query. Actually that thing about people never explaining their fixes gets me so mad that I usually just create a question on Stackoverflow itself and then answer myself, so that one day when someone is having the same issues as me they find the answer more easily. Wish more people would do this, but here we are.
It's not fair to call people who hate dogs losers. There are a lot of reasons to hate dogs and they are absolutely not infallible.
But the people they were talking about in this Episode seem to just hate Cat's and Dogs just for the reason of hating them.

30:01 You shouldn't though, it's miserable, imagine being so scared of having to go outside to where if you have a panic attack you won't know where to go or what to do. While yes it would give you a reason to stay inside and play video games all day. But in reality it's not as fun as you make it out to be. For example, Corpse husband he is terrified of leaving his house because he might get recognized for his voice, and in his situation he lives alone (as far as I know) so imagine how lonely you'd be, even if you did live with someone it would still not be great. Is a horrible situation to be in because Corpse needs to leave his house for physical therapy (? If I am remembering correctly). So please do not say you envy anyone with agoraphobia. If I could take away his fear believe me, I would. No one deserves to go through that.

Seems like an excuse to me, I'm scared of people because I have terrible social anxiety to where I almost cry when I get around a large crowd of people, which is why I hardly go to stores like Wal-Mart, yet I still go out. I can't even breathe when I'm around people. Seems like an excuse to just not have to go out or do an actual job.

I hate reddit moderators the most. They ban you for the most obscure, stupid rules, or just because they don't like what you have to say. I had a post removed from r/art because there was carpet in the photo. Nevermind most of the photo being taken up by my painting, the inch worth space of carpet surrounding was just sooooo distracting.
As someone who was part of r/childfree for a while, I have to disagree with Kaya. It's more of an echo chamber where a bunch of women complain about not being able to get their tubes tied and getting irritated about being asked why they don't want children.
Both of those issues can be solved by just not having sex and responding with "That's my decision and it's none of your damn business."
That's reddit for you.

I'm not saying women should have to suffer either of those things, and yes they are injustices that need to be fixed, but to see only that on the front page of a subreddit for literal days at a time gets tiring. It's noticeable, and since I'm not a woman it does start to feel like an echo chamber.
Like I said, I'll gladly protest or stand up for women who have to suffer a doctor brainwashed by the baby craze and I'll gladly straight out tell someone who's being persistent to go fuck themselves, but at the same time if you talk about something, whether it's injustices or not, constantly and without pause, it gets to a point where some people stop listening and just disconnect from the situation. Which is what happened to me, and the exact *opposite* of what should be done about the situation.
Personally, I like r/childfree and I certainly don't agree with Kaya's initial view on it; it's blatantly false and he's obviously got a prejudice towards it, but at the same time I can see where he's coming from when it's a place that has relatively the same stories (entitled parents, kids being douchebags, complaining about the same things over and over again) constantly. I can see why someone would see I as an echo chamber, and on some level I agree that it is to a certain extent.
Still though, the majority of Kaya's opinion can burn in a fire.
While there are probably some crazy people on this dogfree subreddit and some of the posts were, in kaya's own words, pretty melodramatic, this podcast also illustrates why I think the place exists. If you say you don't like dogs, then dog lovers jump down your throat for it and mock you, like they did here; it's like they're incapable of understanding that some people might just...really hate dogs for w/e reason. The problem is compounded by the fact there are lots of self-centered dog owners in the states at least that just let dogs run up to people willy nilly or refuse to keep them quiet in apartment complexes and the like. It's small wonder that they start making those crazy posts after years upon years of going through this stuff. If these people aren't going around abusing dogs or kicking every mutt they see on the streets, let em do their thing and vent lol.
TRUTH! It's not fair to shut down everything dog haters have to say. I can list 100 good reasons why dogs deserve hate. It's a destructive society when people can't even debate this controversial topic without dog lovers jumping down your throat (Charlie.) Dogs are absolutely not infallible

As a christian I think the problem with the organized part of it (the majority) have gotten so far away from its original teachings its sad. The tenets of christianity is literally just believing that god is almighty and sent his son to die for our sins. charlie was so spot on with the sports vs hitman lmao, I love how opionated Jackson and Andrew get about a game and genre they don't care for anyways. You can tell what NHL game you are playing by which teams are in it, the arenas (for immersion), the game modes, controls, graphics, announcers, settings etc not just the rosters which to some degree do get updated without needing to purchase the most recent game
