I absolutely love how this song makes me feel so melancholic; it's a gaze of sadness, not potent enough to harm me, but sufficient to evoke a tingling sensation.

You don't understand how amazing the Bunker is. It's a ring that spins to simulate artificial gravity via centrifugal forces while in space. This game's world building is next level
nier automata was my first time playing any game in the franchise. it was such an alien experience for me. i didn't even know what genre the game was when i bought it. i pushed through all the self doubts about if i could enjoy it. i pushed myself to the first ending. then the game kept on continuing. i couldn't put down the controller, i needed to experience everything the game had to offer. i don't think i've ever played a game that handled new game pluses like this title. i was being put through the perspectives of every character id met through my initial playthrough. everything was sewn up neatly. i put a lot of trust in myself. this all coincided alongside a horrible termination at my job: just shattered my will. this game was played during the hours that i once worked during. it was like a fevered dream, the game wouldn't end. i took it all in, all the sub stories. i kept myself away of my controller to prevent ever accidentally skipping dialogue or a cutscene it's silly to have treated my console like that, i didn't want to interrupt its story. thank you for this video game. i'm much stronger now, healed up and my will to carry on exists. obviously not solely because of this video game. but the feelings that i needed to experience at that point in my life, i'll forever struggle to verbalize my love for that period of time.
This was really nice to read, what the game did for you and how you've healed. This game means so much to so many of us, I don't think its makers realise how much. I wish you the best and I'm glad we can share peace with this music.
I have a similar story. Played NieR 'til the ending A, and I didn't wanted to play route B as 9S because the gameplay wasn't that fun. Just told myself I already experienced much the game had to offer, and putting it with the rest of my favorites games, always installed, "just in case". An hard break-up followed some months after. Couldn't put myself right. So, I looked at my Steam library, trying to find someway to think about another thing than my current situation. NieR was still installed, and I remembered how this game make me feel the first time, how much I loved the rush of emotions during "all" the story. Started Route B. Finished it the same day. And the ending... 2B's ending, was echoing inside of me. Dealing with a loss in a video game while dealing with a kind of loss in real life. As I begun to play A2, I was as furious as she was. As I discovered Berserk Mode, I wanted to hurt anything even more than A2 wanted to. I just was mesmerized by the fact that I was feeling the same way about my real life and this video game. It was just so... Smooth. So real. Soon after, I was near the end. I remember clearly the last look I gave to Devola and Popola just before climbing the Tower. I remember clearly the last hit A2 put into 9S. It's so... Vivid. So crystal-clear. This game helped me so much about so much. It's hard to put into word, even more as english isn't my mother tongue. But if I really need to put some words on it: It's a masterpiece. And I'm so glad I played it 'til the very end. I'm so glad I was able to delete my save file while accepting my current real-life situation, hoping to help someone in the same kind of situation as I was. Thanks, Yoko Taro.
Me sentía gris, vacía, sola...

It's hard, alas. Tears in my eyes. With a song, the paths are revealed!
I know this from the FF14 crossover raids, and even there it serves as atmosphere for the story. It's the main music in the 2nd raid area and you have to get back there afterwards to search for someone who is in danger. I loved it but at the same time I had never felt more melancholic.
I remember the first time I got to the bunker and hearing this for the first time, I spent 20 minutes walking around just listening to this, love this game so much.

I absolutely love how this song makes me feel so melancholic; it's a gaze of sadness, not potent enough to harm me, but sufficient to evoke a tingling sensation.
The song is so haunting in Final Fantasy 14, especially going along with the context and overall story arch.
When you start the second playthru, seeing the robot so desperate to revive his brother, and 9S laughing about it. that scene hits hard man, they are sentient, they feel and they suffer, man this game is one of the best pieces of art ever produce by mankind
Glory for mankind
There is no other song in the world to possibly bring me as much comfort and peace than this. A true blessing to hear.
I never actually known this composition title, now when I know I understand why it's called like that
It hits hard listening to it after 4 years, what a game...
You don't understand how amazing the Bunker is. It's a ring that spins to simulate artificial gravity via centrifugal forces while in space. This game's world building is next level
White noise vibes. One of the best "chill" soundtracks ever created
nier automata was my first time playing any game in the franchise. it was such an alien experience for me. i didn't even know what genre the game was when i bought it.
i pushed through all the self doubts about if i could enjoy it. i pushed myself to the first ending.
then the game kept on continuing. i couldn't put down the controller, i needed to experience everything the game had to offer.
i don't think i've ever played a game that handled new game pluses like this title. i was being put through the perspectives of every character id met through my initial playthrough. everything was sewn up neatly. i put a lot of trust in myself.
this all coincided alongside a horrible termination at my job: just shattered my will. this game was played during the hours that i once worked during. it was like a fevered dream, the game wouldn't end.
i took it all in, all the sub stories. i kept myself away of my controller to prevent ever accidentally skipping dialogue or a cutscene
it's silly to have treated my console like that, i didn't want to interrupt its story.
thank you for this video game. i'm much stronger now, healed up and my will to carry on exists. obviously not solely because of this video game. but the feelings that i needed to experience at that point in my life, i'll forever struggle to verbalize my love for that period of time.
This was really nice to read, what the game did for you and how you've healed. This game means so much to so many of us, I don't think its makers realise how much.
I wish you the best and I'm glad we can share peace with this music.
You were meant to play this game, bros
Thanks, Yoko Taro.
i hope i could write as good and complex as you, if only canadian mines didnt exist
Me sentía gris, vacía, sola...
You know, my dear. It can be with anyone. I understand that you were gray, empty and lonely. My school friends abandoned me. That I work in the FOREST GUARD in Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region as an inspector. Recently, a friend who gave me money for a PlayStation 4 died. Plus, I bought NieR: Automata.
I don't know what I feeling when I hear this, It's like to stay at another world or reality, it's peaceful and melancholy.
April 2024 and I'm still listening this wonderful theme.
This is like a lullaby to me. So peaceful.
Currently replaying the game. Still an absolute bliss. And this track is probably still my favorite overall.
frking piece of art ,i'm crying
This piece of music just transports you to a different era.
Started playing this game today. Such a beautiful ambience filled with a touch of sadness
I remember the first time I got to the bunker and hearing this for the first time, I spent 20 minutes walking around just listening to this, love this game so much.
Been trying to write a paper for days. Could finally calm down and make progress listening to this. Thank you
when you play the game and learn all that you can you realize the song title really does make sense and seeing 2B "trying" to rest on her bunk bed is even more gut-wrenching and heart breaking :( I love you...2....A2....:((((((((((((((((((
I can tell it is in the game because you hear the footsteps of her idle animation lol. wonderful video none the less
Still the greatest video game I have ever played and a life changing experience.
Thank you so much, Yoko Taro.
(A2 is waifu #1)
Fortress of lies. Bunker is nothing but lies being told to Yorha units. The pain is real in this game.
Nier automata is my favorite game, its one of the only games that i made 100% and enjoyed every second of it.
The story is friggin good, the gameplay is actually really smooth, and the characters are perfectly written
And the best:The soundtrack, every music is perfect for the moment it starts and for the moment it ends
i don't expect to have a experience like this in my life again(the only other game that i enjoyed at that level is DS3)
Right now im replaying nier replicant, and i'm having a lot of fun
I live in brasil and is sad that games like nier aren't recognized here(here most people just play fps and tps)
this is going on repeat every night ngl
I listen to this everyday.
I've listened to many songs but the peaceful music of other games were still always either just a bit too tense or just overly loud then it should of been but this music I literally slept all night yesterday and it was a different experience. Never have I listened to a music so soft and caring yet mix of emotions I sleep instantly with it. Like man nier automata music knew wtf it was doing I love it!
I sleep with it on as well! And for programming and studying and it never distracts me.
@@stars-and-clouds I know and how it's so soft too I never heard music this soft and out there before. Only time you really get those is being part of a band and mastering your control on the instrument. It's just right. No sharp notes, no aggressive parts in the calm melody it's just perfect. And thanks for the heart you didn't had to ^w^ I'm gonna be having a playlist that's just all the soundtrack of nier automata for my drawings and all day activities. Other then that hope your day goes great and thank you so much making the extended of these beautiful music the people put there soul in
I literally listen to the Soundtracks of all the Nier games with my Bone conduction headphones so that I can have this amazing and peaceful music as I work in my hospitals Emergency Centre
Love the sci Fi atmosphere always! ❤🥰💯
How many times I stood still in the base just to listen a little bit more to this track. Incredible atmosphere.
This game makes me cry anytime I play it. Still my all time favorite game even all these years later.
This game has an incredible soundtrack… this particular track is out of this world… i played this game just a couple of weeks ago, and it was great… I am now playing replicant and definitely, I hope Square-Enix can make more Nier games. It may not sell billions but it certainly has its niche among fans. Love forever B2 and Kaine 😘 🤗 😊
The NieR series will forever be the best games I've ever played
the first time i played the game i actually sat there in the menu screen when you go through all the settings with 9S for like a solid 10 minutes just listening to this song, its one of those things that when you listen to them again it makes you feel empty but happy at the same time
I remember when I first got to the ground and went to the rebel camp and saw the name of this track on the jukebox. I knew I was in for a ride.
this song so fuckin good i love the nier series i wish i could delete my memories and replay those games over and over again. even tho i played nier replicant when it came out which was only 2 years ago, that time seemed so peaceful and nice...i wnat to go back.
this game was so far ahead of its time.
I was so confused when I saw the name for this ost, now I understand.
Really good to listen while falling asleep
I've just finished the game (literally today), and I'm satisfied and melancholy at the same time, but then I realized that I can play with the POV of 9s, and that makes it exacting
Really reminds me of His Dream from NieR Replicant when you enter the Forest of Myth.
If you didn’t take 15 min breaks every time you came to the bunker to take in this masterpiece of composure I question if you even played the game
It’s like my brain resets when I hear the first note
I listen to this every single night when i go to bed
Me too, after all this time
Its pure beautiful ❤❤❤
Me encanta.
One of my favorite song from this game!❤
I love this theme❤, for some reason make me cry 😢 i dont want a lose the bunker
Never once closed this video on my laptop. It's absolutely stress relieving, it makes me want to be in the bunker itself as a yorha unit lol
Lo escucho de vez en cuando❤
My favorite song from the soundtrack
I listen to this whenever I read Vagabond. In my opinion, it’s a perfect match, especially during Kojiro’s story.
Ohhh, I'll check this out! Thanks for the idea and suggestion!
@@stars-and-cloudsOf course. Have you started it?
Omg i love this so much
Riddles in Ruins" The Flight, "Mary's Theme" Stelvio Cipriani, "Volti e fantasmi" Ennio Morricone.
this is my go to reading music, also Herta space station
Reminds me of Adam Jensen's apartment at night in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Never played nor heard to the music before, but just listened to it for the first time and it is absolutely beautiful. I can see what you mean. I agree.
No words, just goosebumps
Hearing this upon first arriving to the bunker grew a great expectation of the game within me and the game did deliver.
I expected something is not as it seems. This music, and everything being black-and white.. It made it quite obvious.
it hurts me to know this has been Home for quite some time now for the androids...
Man this freaking game... This game has left an impression on me in a way that no game has yet achieved. And I'm talking about some real quality games like RDR2, RDR, Far Cry 3, Spec Ops, CoD BO, CoD WaW, BF3, TW3, TLOU, Old Gow games etc. NieR Automata did something splendid
Thank you. Did the video that you are talking about in the description was 10h long ?
No it was 1 hour as well =)
Yes the word fortress of lies really suit of the story like example
Black clothes - Funeral That like your always mean to death in the end
Blindfold - always blind from truth
Fortress of lies - making a fake hope for the soldier like how they said humanity is still living but in the end the humanity is already extinct
Like Commander White Said Everyone had a reason to fight for
Make A God That Worth Of fighting for
I’ve seen all the lore explanation videos, never played the game itself, should I get it on the switch, or on the steam deck? I’ve heard so many horror stories about the pc port though, did they ever fix it?
I played it on PC and legit not had a single bug, one of the smoothest games ever. So, ig the rumour you heard was much earlier on and they fixed it. I played the game about two years ago, btw. Also, idk if it is available on the deck yet.
From what I've heard they have fixed all the problems with the PC port by now
@@PurePancakes113 in fact, the problem was not in bugs, but in performance, which was only partially solved by adding amd fidelity fx to the game, but performance still leaves much to be desired, I don’t know how well it will work on steam deck, but maybe better than nintendo switch
man i wanna play nier automata again
I listen to this all day everyday at work. (I'm an attorney.)
I do too! I'm a programmer =D I love how music brings us all together
Me too. I'm a programmer as well.
You deal with fortresses of lies huh? 😅
I just had a fight with my sister before I put this on, I was so angry, because she blamed me for the same things she had done days, and even hours before. This calmed me down enough. I'm still annoyed, but I think I'm ready to forgive, just gotta wait for her now.
Oh, Melancholia
guess im installing nier automata again
i love that music!
Is it only me or can you guys also hear 2B's footsteps somewhere in the track?
Here before one million.
I want to play this game when I get a job instead of not having one and playing it. Because I already have it. But it depends on how much you play games every day or so. So you can enjoy this with enough dopamine
