Thanks! I hope it was useful. I was also concerned about this, and even though you can’t see both taillights at the same time from the sides, you can see both of them from straight back. I haven’t had any issues with visibility or legality :)

Good question! Haven’t had any problems so far, from directly behind you can see both tail lights and from each side at least one is visible. They are very bright, so I’m not too worried and cops seem to agree. :)
My van just failed it’s MOT (road worthiness check) because the box obscures the lights. I want to keep the box so IAM spending £1,000 on having led lights put on the bumper.

Great video and setup. Any concerns about your brake and tail lights being much harder for other vehicles to see you from the rear?
