This video was really helpful to source the parts and install. One quick note, I also had to swap the wiring harness but was able to make enough room behind the interior panel to reach the connectors and unplug them. Saved me a lot time, def worth trying before removing panels.

Good video shot. Very detailed DIY steps. Did u manage to figure out how to fix the quick blinks on your turn signal after installing the LED Bulbs? This is what I faced on all my Japanese cars when I upgraded the turn signal to LED bulbs.

Just got the tail lights but why did u move all of the interior to get to the plug? I’m tryna figure out am I installing mine incorrect?
Dude I don’t remember anymore lol I think the harness is different like the bulb socket wasn’t the same. Line them up and find out
During half the video when you were removing the interior and side trimmings was that just for the tail light to get the bulb to work correctly? Or changing the harness ?
To run the thicker harness for the bulb because bulb socket is different size and older harness wouldn’t fit.

From the dealer. Just grab the vin from a 2017 Limited so they can find the parts

Is this just plug and play for 2012 fx35?
Possibly it may require the harness swap, they changed to the bigger harness bulbs later on I think.
I been trying very hard to find this tail lights And I got nothing can please somebody help me find them my model is 2014 please
I would order directly from a dealer. You will need the vin to a 2017 limited model. Find a model on CarGurus online then copy it’s Vin and give to your dealer. They will be able to get the correct lights for you!

First gen was much easier, they were plug and play. Yes I did the mod for both my fx45 and my current fx50 😭.

Los Angel google the vin to a used 2017 qx70 limited. Take the vin to your local dealer they can order lights with that.
Got my lights Friday and 1 came broken. Luckily dealer will replace it!!
Sean Sebrechts crazy! It’s funny I hear people run into this issue with shipping those from what I’ve read on the infintiscene forum.
Mods And Coffee The salesman said this rarely ever happens which I highly doubt. They were packaged well but for what they are they need to put more wrapping inside the box to take up the empty space around the lenses.

@@DubaiCalisthenics when you open the back hatch you will remove the internet plastic trim. It’s really easy I just used a plastic trim remover. There are I believe 2 nuts holding in the third brake light. That was the easiest part of the install. The body lights require more disassemble.

Oem design, you can get aftermarket LEDs that do work, so lame right? If you wanna do that I have a guy who does it Dm me on IG

Oh... this is what I did before too. It turns out that the resisters became very hot and melted my cables and my inner boots fabric almost got burned out too. Watch out bro. Friend of mine got his car burned completely because his Wife forgot to turn off the hazard light at the roadside.
Yup I hear some peeps have issues, I mounted these ones on the sheet metal behind the number. The ones I have are black box looking ones, I’ll be sure never to run the hazards lol
