i popped in one of the festoon bulbs in my 2006 roof and now none of my interior lights, and power seat work. I've been SCOURING the internet to find what fuse controls the lights to no avail. Since you have such good videos and how tos, could you make a video foe that, @gq37 ?
Great video! Specially when you did it alone. Where did you get your mat for the trunk? My baby stroller is getting the floor dirty and my interior its beige. TIA.
You'll probably need to get an hid Fog light kit as it's not just a matter of changing the bulb. If you go with a led bulb it won't be as bright and projecting as the OEM yellow one, it'll match your hid headlights and look better, but ultimately they'll be worthless unless you get a kit that will actually project the light. There may be some led fog upgrade kits as well. I don't have fogs on my 2017 limited so haven't looked into it. When you find the kit you want though you can get to them by removing your splash guard under tray about 10 or so 10mm bolts and get to them from there
@@GQ37official I put Sylvania bulbs in mine. You don't lose the great beam pattern and they are nice and white. They match my new OEM headlights. Looks sweet! And I can see awesome! Also just did the interior lights and they look great too.
Great super helpful video, specially the trunk part! Got a PrecisionLED kit coming in soon with the 8000K bulbs (I've usually done 6000K but thought to change it up as there's not a ton of mods for the QX70 so anything that stands out more counts in my book :D The kit I ordered also comes with vanity mirror bulbs, were you planning on doing those as well at some point? Also added a glovebox led to my kit as well. Those infiniti logo bulbs I had on my g37s in the past but they only lasted 2-3months and from the looks of the reviews, that still hasn't improved but they sure do look nice and got many compliments on them when I had them. Any mods to consider for the headlights? Would be interesting to see what can be upgraded there in terms of bulbs etc.
Thanks. I had that experience with the logo door lights on my last car, but so far these have already lasted longer than those. Just thought I'd try it again. 🤞 I don't have a light in my glove box so nothing to change there for me. I opted out of doing the vanity mirrors as I don't use them. I plan to at least do the parking lights to led and may swap the headlight hid to 6k while I'm in there like I did for my G37. Didn't really notice a difference in output, but at least it all matched.
@@GQ37official Hey sorry got sidetracked with life and missed your replies, good to hear about the logo door lights. Can you share the brand you bought by any chance? Also call me crazy but it seems like there is a glovebox light that came on the other day but didnt get a chance to investigate, will report back! Please do share a video when you swap the parking lights and headlights, would be great to see the steps!!
After upgrading my lights to these LEDs I get this cracking interference sound through one of my speakers when I use Bluetooth for phone calls. I read that LEDs can cause radio interference. Has anyone experienced this? How would I resolve this? Should I try a different brand of led bulb?
Mine came with it as part of the limited package. If you're not a member of the infiniti fx/qx group Facebook you might want to check that out. I've seen some people ordering them on there, but I think they've been ordering them from the dealership as it's pretty rare to see them come up for sale on eBay.
I used Morimoto 6K HID bulbs for my headlights and some 6k LED T10 style bulbs to match them, the video for that is here with the buy links in the description for the bulbs I used ruclips.net/video/3Ujhz3tmYk0/видео.html
Yea a little, I got over a year out of them this time haha (as opposed to the 6 mo or so the first time in my G37). Eventually the image burned out and got distorted so I just went to regular led bulbs in the doors.
It's been a while since you posted so you might already have them. I didn't want those either so I got some brownish/ gold led off Amazon they have a couple different colors.
@@lejuanemelton5736 I actually still have the stock bulbs because I don’t like the super white leds unless I can find them somewhere that are gold/yellow colored white just feels wrong warm bulbs are comforting
@@BeyondThePines0 The ones I got are brown/gold in color I got them last week from Amazon they were like 6 bucks. I finished changing them out today. I couldn't find them for the cargo area yet .
The signature addition is the best version ... The MDX is going to beat it for power and handling. The Infinity will give more luxury appointments for less...KDK.
