Thanks a lot
can I also do for my hp elitebook 840 G1 battery, which have same three batteries in a row
Yes you can
excellent. i was thinking on the same line and here you have the solution. the power would be more as compared to the designed battery ( 57 Wh against 41 Wh ) but it can be further increased by using higher capacity li ion batteries. 👍
Yes, the only drawback is the charging time will be higher
i am wondering if battery pack of 11.1 volt and say 5000 mAh can also be used? Charging could be an issue. Any suggestions?
Not an issue, charging time will be higher and also backup time will be higher
Dear sir after changing cell, if BMS locked than how to unlock it
BMS will not lock. First time hearming
well, the hp laptop that are currently being sold the quality of the component are really bad. so, avoid hp if possible
You are absolutely correct
You are absolutely correct
How did you identify which pads are minus and which plus on the controller board
0 is minus and 12V is +
I just realised now.
They have the controller board pads labelled but only one is labeled as ground so that's obviously wrong
Doesn't each cell need a plus and a ground so 3 grounds and 3 plus
@@emmanuelvalmas5648 Yes and it is ther
@@emmanuelvalmas5648 yes bms has 3 ground and 3 plus connection points and the batteries have been connected properly. see video at 11.45 - 12.00
or ca I use big mah cell like 3600mah
Yes ofcourse . Charging will take more time and backup will also increase
thanks, this give me new life to my old laptop@@TechInsert
@@TechInsert dear sir, can we use LiFePo4 cell 6000mah, 3 cell for three batteries?
@@Amitkumar12300 Sorry for that late reply. Li Ferro will be 3.2V not 3.7V . It has different BMS. Li-Ion and Li-Ferro are using different BMS. You cannot replace that in the Laptop battery. It will kill your battery soon
@@TechInsert ok sir thanks for your reply
sir how much each cell cost?

thank you sir@@TechInsert
Sir can i use 3 18650 cell at each column that means total 9 cell
Yes , charging time will increase and backup will also increase
@@TechInsert sir but i doubt if i increase the number of cells like 3 cells in each column, will the amp have any effect, will the bms also have any effect, the bms can handle that load.
@@vrunalpatil9723 No issues- If BMS is 1A, it will max deliver 1A only. If we are pulling more than that, BMS will disconnect the battery to load. Also If you are adding more battery in parallel,, still BMS will not give more current for charging, it will give the same rated current, which will take even more time for charging. Kindly watch the below video and this will give u fair idea about the BMS. ruclips.net/video/WZY7hQUE5cs/видео.html
@@TechInsert thank you
