Amen to this sermon Bro Toff. I was brought up with family and the Pentecostal Holiness Church that Dec 25 th was the date that Jesus was born. We even celebrate it today on the same day. May God continue blessing you Bro Tiff.
I love listening to your teachings. I was listening to Jonathan Can and he explains that Jesus was not born on the 25 th of Dec. His video is also on you tube. I wish you would give ita listen and share yourviews.
My personal conviction is, not to celebrate Christmas because of the historical and traditional background. If I have to keep my beliefs private, as you said, then it is condamming me personally. You judge my beliefs. You have said not to device the Church believers. I am not doing this. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ. If it stops me from doing so that makes it unacceptable and is not more than a Cult driven by Constantine and the early Roman Catholic Church.
Tiff, your teaching is always solid - straight from the Bible. Thank you for sticking to the Word, because it has all the answers we’ll ever need. When people say there’s no proof of God I say to them - yes, there is proof of God - He gave us a book that tells us all about Him! God’s blessings to you, Tiff. 😊🙏❤️
Jonathan Cahn Rabbi explains that Jesus possibly was born in March...Recently I was listened to him. He is a Jew and he explained that his way. Please which is closer to a truth? Thank you
Very little discussion about the topic here. The Romans kept very good records so the exact date of the decree to perform a census should be in documents. If the Roman birth record of Jesus is available then it should be the end of discussion if it can be shown.
@rhondastevens4959 1)There is a good possibility that Christ was born December 25th.The priestly course of Abias (the course of Saint Zacharias) was undoubtedly serving during the second week of the Jewish month of Tishri-the very week of the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of Tishri. In our calendar, the Day of Atonement would land anywhere from September 22 to October 8. (2)Zacharias and Elizabeth conceived John the Baptist immediately after Zacharias served his course. This entails that Saint John the Baptist would have been conceived somewhere around the end of September, placing John’s birth at the end of June, confirming the Catholic Church’s celebration of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist on June 24. (3)The rest of the dating is rather simple. We read that just after the Virgin Mary conceived Christ, she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth who was six months pregnant with John the Baptist. This means that John the Baptist was six months older that our Lord Jesus Christ (Lk 1:24-27, 36).4)If you add six months to June 24 you get December 24-25 as the birthday of Christ. Then, if you subtract nine months from December 25 you get that the Annunciation was March 25. All the dates match up perfectly. So then, if John the Baptist was conceived shortly after the Jewish Day of the Atonement, then the traditional Catholic dates are essentially correct. The birth of Christ would be about or on December 25.
"Was Jesus Born On December 25th?" Kind Sir...(Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused) I was taught many years ago (89 yrs now); that "Christmas Day" was chosen by the RCC; because they believed it was springtime; when Mary conceived. So they rationalized that the 21st March of the longest day (in the Springtime) should be that day; and so they added 9 mos to that; and then chose the closest Sunday; and that happened to be Dec 25th. So from that time, it has always been that Day. Whether or not it is true, I have no clue. And I am sure, that no one else knows for sure either. The only important part IS; that it is acknowledging that Jesus WAS born and He DID everything up to His "Ascension"; that the bible says He did. Thus, anything else is moot. Lastly: The "Wise Men" had no importance when it comes to Jesus. Yes they brought gifts but that caused a "Blasphemous Abomination sin"; that we should all follow suit. ETC... ...the problem is: NO person is Jesus; so why the gifts to us including children? Huh? What did we do; to be able to save any one from hell?...Huh? But as always, MOST people will use ANY thing to create celebratory "Pomp and Circumstance" scenarios; to elevate human's life ways; that always, over time; turns into shoving Jesus out; and use people to be the focus; like Santa Clause and his Reindeer's, etc! So, the most important thing of Jesus' coming into this world; died long ago. What with chicaneries such as, "Hanuka" (to prove that Jesus was NOT the Savior-Messiah) and "Kwanzaa" (so that Africa is not offended). And on and on. Not to mention "Xmas" (purposely to "X" Christ out); "Happy Holidays" and "Seasons Greetings"; and a myriad of things like, "Well all 'Gods' are the same; they just have different names". YEAH RIGHT! And the Quintessential Abomination Sin of all; "Jesus might offend someone". YEAH RIGHT! I rest me case... ...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
Honestly you are very rude. Have you ever listened to Tiff before because you will know that he is a praying man, one who loves to study the word. I suspect you did NOT listen to the teaching but jumped to conclusions. Christmas is one of the few times , maybe the only time for some, that people will hear of Jesus. God saw fit to put the visit of the magi in the Bible so clearly he saw it as important. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, Unity is what is our witness, that does not always mean agreement. Tiff has taught and reached millions through Christ, he is very sound. Your concerns are not essential to salvation but believing that Jesus is the son of God and born if a virgin , came to bear our sins on the cross and rose again on the third day having defeated death . Those are the essentials.
Also people who use X so as not to include Jesus ( i dont see that happening here btw) are still using his name . This was actually an early representation of Christ.

No - no one knows the actual date; but around April and September have both been suggested. December was chosen as other cultures and religions celebrated the return of the light on winter Solstice - it seemed a good time of year to use as it could be easily Christianized (which, of course, it was).

@@dentryn4365 Thanks, yes after additional research, what you present above describes exactly how the early church arrived at the 25 December date. i.e. by determining the date of the Annunciation as March 25 and just bumping up 9 months. It is interesting to note that March 25 was the old Roman date of the Spring Equinox and 25 December the Winter Solstice.
Somebody said that in Luke chapter 1 there is some info that Jesus was born in July ??? bc of the difference in the calendars now> we are celebrating it in Dec. Please clarify it and thank you
Jesus most certainly was not born in December. I staunchly reject this teaching. Why would Christians celebrate Jesus' birth on the date that most false gods celebrate? If Christmas was celebrated in March, I would join in the celebration. I refuse to celebrate any holidays rooted in paganism. Thank you for this message.
you must have tuned out when he talked about attitudes towards non-essential issues and not being dogmatic and forcing opinions down other people's throats. You are at liberty to believe Jesus' birth was on April 1, June 4, or Sept 11 It must be horrible to have no wedding anniversary, birthday, wedding, Easter, New Year, or Christmas, nor no Janus, Mars, Junos, Julius, Augustus, or even the days of the week. Pagans used fire to keep warm and burned candles for light. I can't imagine going around without light or heat nowadays because it was a pagan practice.

Hi I respect your opinion about Jesus being born In December 25th. The whole world celebrates Christmas and that gives be doubts about being part of that world celebration. You said many times that there’s no way we can identify the exact day of the birth of our Savior. Just because the Catholic Church believes it is we as Christians shouldn’t go hand and hand with the Catholic Church. Many historian’s you mentioned also believes that Jesus was born in December but shouldn’t we believe more about what the Bible says and not what comes out of other peoples mouth? You didn’t gave a conclusion when the pastors took their sheep’s to eat dry wheat or grass and the ground was full of snow because near December or on December there was snow all over and besides snow it was very cold. I’m confused and I want to learn the truth about Christmas. Thank you May the Lord keep blessing you and your family.

@@dentryn4365 I have new findings. JESUS CHRIST was NOT born in December period. According to the Bible and the understanding the Hebrew calendar. Our LORD was born somewhere between September and October. Read the Bible! At the time Mary was looking for hotel and they’re were all booked that’s the reason why Jesus was born in a stable. Why was the hotels booked? Because in September they were celebration and it was not Christmas. There’s a big story about that December celebration. It involves Nimrod the wife was Semeramis and the Son Tammuz. You see that T for Tammuz? Well guess what? That’s where the cross comes from. From the T” that means the cross is not a Christian symbol. This 3 person I mentioned are the responsible ones for lying to the world and many pastors love those celebrations because it brings revenues. Read, Read. Many blessings

Thanks for sharing brother! I love you man! You are a blessing! Im praying for you and your family! The new macaroni virus is spreading at an increasing rate and lock down's have already begun, a sister had a dream that we leave (Rapture/event) when the 2nd lock down happens, And a brother from "City on a hill" RUclips channel and a few other brothers and sisters have had dreams of the rapture happening before Christmas! I am watching and expecting for the rapture/event to happen during the next full moon on December 16th - 21st 2021. Many sisters and brothers (including me) have had either visions or dreams of the rapture happening during a full moon. December 16th is a Thursday, and a few brothers and sisters have had dreams and confirmations from God that the rapture will happen on a Thursday. December 16th is the 16th of Kislev on the Creator's full moon calendar. I had a dream a few months ago where I saw the date of the rapture engraved in a tombstone in Hebrew writing and all I could understand and remember was that the end date was the 16th of a month. Sister Darla from "God's gifts" RUclips channel also had a dream where she woke up yelling the 16th! December 16th/17th is: - 693 days (99 weeks) from when they first moved the Doomsday clock to "100 seconds to midnight" on January 23rd 2020 - 500 days from the large explosion in Beirut on August 4th 2020 - 350 days (50 weeks) from new years eve on December 31st 2020 - 175 days (25 weeks) from the Miami condo collapse on June 24th 2021 - 88 days from when La Palma volcano began erupting on September 19th 2021 I believe that 2021 is the year of the rapture because on my channel there WAS a video of a sister that had a very detailed vision of the rapture/event and she said that it will happen before 2022 (RUclips deleted it), she says that the rapture/event will be a bright white light lasting a few minutes and we will be transformed into our heavenly glorified bodies and brought up to heaven. I give full glory to God/Jesus for this comment because I have been praying everyday for God/Jesus to reveal this information to me so that I can share it with everyone. "If God/Jesus is everything, then we must be inside God/Jesus, and God/Jesus must be inside us" We will not experience any pain during the rapture/event. See you in heaven! Pray and repent of your sins to God/Jesus, not to be saved, but to show respect to God/Jesus and strengthen your relationship. God/Jesus loves everyone of you like as if you were the only person in the entire universe! Please share this message with your family and friends! God bless you and your family!
Jesus was born in September. Christmas was celebrated thousands of years before Jesus was born. Christmas is actually the pagan god, Nimrod's birthday. PSA: don't listen to just one person... read your Bible, and learn for yourself. And don't take advice from a famous pastor that has multiple private jets. Jesus said that you'll be hated for His name's sake. So how is it that you're getting no pushback from the world?
I agree with BRIAN PEPPERS. Christmas is pagan. As are Christmas 🎄. Santa is an anagram of Satan. Elves are demons. It was Constantine who set the date as August in who came to Britain to convert complained that the natives celebrated Yule etc on 25 Dec and Constantine said well just add Christmas to the mix. It would have been too cold for Mary and Joseph to travel in winter and also the shepherds would not have been out. I have heard it was 9/11 and Bin Laden was aware of this. The reading of God's stars and planets (not warped satanic astrology) also points to that date.
@@juliephillips3374 Utter nonsense - guess you don't travel to anywhere named "Santa X" (Santa Barbara, San Jose, etc.) Constantine didn't establish Dec. 25 as Christmas.
Sir you were out of the topic most of the time ...It would have been much better if the evidences were Bible based. Anyway thanks for the lesson.... Waiting for more.
In the Bible it states that the angel Gabriel came to Mary on the 6 month, If she carried Jesus for 9 months that would put Jesus birth Feb or March depending on the date of the 6th mo. All the other things you're talking about is a waste of time. You take mans word over the word of God?
The angel Gabriel came to Mary in the 6th month of Elizabeth's pregnancy.. so to make that statement is absolutely wrong.. that is why there is so much debate on the topic.. there would be no debate if it were just that..
Amen! We thank GOD for giving us HIS WORD to study it and know HIM and the Messiah, His Son!
Thank you so much for covering these topics! I love all your teachings and always learn so much ☺️ God bless you brother Tiff

@MrPatdeeee 1)There is a good possibility that Christ was born December 25th.The priestly course of Abias (the course of Saint Zacharias) was undoubtedly serving during the second week of the Jewish month of Tishri-the very week of the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of Tishri.

No - no one knows the actual date; but around April and September have both been suggested. December was chosen as other cultures and religions celebrated the return of the light on winter Solstice - it seemed a good time of year to use as it could be easily Christianized (which, of course, it was).

Thanks, yes after additional research, what you present above describes exactly how the early church arrived at the 25 December date. i.e. by determining the date of the Annunciation as March 25 and just bumping up 9 months. It is interesting to note that March 25 was the old Roman date of the Spring Equinox and 25 December the Winter Solstice.
Amen!
Couldn't one find when Joseph went to register in Bethlehem would give a closer time of when Jesus was born.
Yes you did, salt and pepper 😊
God bless you
Somebody said that in Luke chapter 1 there is some info that Jesus was born in July ??? bc of the difference in the calendars now> we are celebrating it in Dec.
You are at liberty to believe Jesus' birth was on April 1, June 4, or Sept 11
It must be horrible to have no wedding anniversary, birthday, wedding, Easter, New Year, or Christmas, nor no Janus, Mars, Junos, Julius, Augustus, or even the days of the week. Pagans used fire to keep warm and burned candles for light. I can't imagine going around without light or heat nowadays because it was a pagan practice.
@karenallen5208 December 25th was used by Christians before the Roman pagans.

Even the less weighty allow you to connect ALL doctrine together for truth. We don't unite on lies as truth. We inite ONLY on truth... this ain't it.

But is it possible to determine what month Jesus was born?

I thought ALL doctrine was for instruction correction reproof... but tuffy says some doctrine is non essential? Complete contradiction of God's word....
December 16th/17th is:
- 693 days (99 weeks) from when they first moved the Doomsday clock to "100 seconds to midnight" on January 23rd 2020
- 500 days from the large explosion in Beirut on August 4th 2020
- 350 days (50 weeks) from new years eve on December 31st 2020
- 175 days (25 weeks) from the Miami condo collapse on June 24th 2021
- 88 days from when La Palma volcano began erupting on September 19th 2021
I believe that 2021 is the year of the rapture because on my channel there WAS a video of a sister that had a very detailed vision of the rapture/event and she said that it will happen before 2022 (RUclips deleted it), she says that the rapture/event will be a bright white light lasting a few minutes and we will be transformed into our heavenly glorified bodies and brought up to heaven.
I give full glory to God/Jesus for this comment because I have been praying everyday for God/Jesus to reveal this information to me so that I can share it with everyone.
"If God/Jesus is everything, then we must be inside God/Jesus, and God/Jesus must be inside us"
We will not experience any pain during the rapture/event.

@@juliephillips3374
Utter nonsense - guess you don't travel to anywhere named "Santa X" (Santa Barbara, San Jose, etc.) Constantine didn't establish Dec. 25 as Christmas.
His, (Jonothan Cahn) account seems credible
100% The Bible does not state what month or date that Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant. Who chose Dec. 25th as Jesus birth? @@kevinbutler7055
