I know how funny it is to see Darian fail in getting Evelyn for himself, but am I the only one who wants to see him try something drastic, get in over his head, and see him meet a tragic end?

I dunno how you folks do it but goddamnit ya nailed it. The interactions between the characters In this episode were great and plus the shock of Exodius and Ash and Imperm was very unexpected. Plus I dunno if anyone else is gonna mention it, but the roadway in the background of the room that is being dueled in was honestly really cool. I kind of always wanted to see a see duel with cars driving by and this is the way to do it. Great job as always and can't wait for the next one!!!

15:25-I just remembered Exodius's OTHER Ability! If a Duelist hase all FIVE Pieces of Exodia in the Graveyard, the Duelist automatically wins!

Great episode. I always enjoy the writing and duel choreography. Each character strategy is done with a lot of thought and clear love for the game . Thanks for all your hard work.
Loved seeing an episode where someone else dueled for once! Don't get me wrong, Kisara is my favorite character but I love Evelyn as well. Excited for the next episode!

This Duel of Evelyn somehow looks like Jim Crocodile Cook against the Duel Bot, and I am really happy for her victory! By the way, I would like to see her and Kisara join the Team 5D’s, since Yusei has managed to beat that robot , too! I am pretty sure that he, Jack, Crow, Akiza , Luna and Leo would be very happy to welcome Kisara and Evelyn in the group, they would be two very powerful new members....I think that they would get along very well, especially with Akiza and Luna, the two others girls!
Now this was a great episode as always I cannot wait for the next one. Congrats on making such a wonderful series

I would say this is my Favourite Episode so far! I loved both Cameos (Schmirko and your Mom were awesome❤) and i get the feeling that Evelyn is my Favourite Character in these Series😊

i Frickin Knew it!, the bot was trying to go for the Exodia, I Knew It!, my duelist sense were tingling sort of speak and gut instinct, also an Exodia deck!?, i also kinda knew was coming as well, overall 10/10 for the video

I'm with you there S-Code, I would actually love to see that. Evelyn constantly putting love-obsessed Darien in his place some way or another/seeing Darien fail all the time because of his obsession is just too good to ignore 😎
Very good! Definitely a change of pace from the last traumatic story-heavy ep! But a harmless fun episode every now and again is always welcome. Nice cameo from mom as well - school principal vibes aplenty! :)
Some things that came to mind as I was watching.
1. Defense Draw and then Impenetrable Attack? Wouldn't just using Impenetrable Attack have achieved the goal of negating damage at the cost of only 1 card instead of 2? Or was Defense Draw that important during the writing process? Like, was that card that Evelyn drew going to be useful? (genuine question out of curiosity)
2. How did that wally get his hands on Exodia cards to put into the duel bot? 🤣 They must be more common in this universe?
3. Ash, Imperm AND Dark Ruler?! Whoever wrote this has truly entered their villain phase! 🤣🤣
New outro too. But the disappearing Evelyn act, man I hope nothing happens to her! Hasn't Kisara been through enough recently?!

PS, this series, as well as Revelations that I came across a month or so ago, has inspired me to start writing a short series myself. Just on paper, not a live action one. I figured since I'm enjoying these, I'll give it a go myself. Might turn out to be utter garbage haha but its always worth a go. So thanks for the inspo folks!
The actor who plays Eli moved out of state, so unfortunately we probably won’t be seeing much more of him, but maybe a little!

I love Evelyn and her fossil deck.
Ok so I just found this series: I figured I’d start here to see where you’re at modern day as opposed to critiquing just from the beginning. And just as a heads up; any critiques I give are meant to be entirely constructive, I mean no ill will or rudeness in my words. I only want to help you all improve.
I have to give major props to your editing: the SFX and video editing is very well done. I work on my own Yugioh audio drama, and the SFX work alone is a ton of effort, so well done there. Also, major props for all the creative anime and game scene inserts!
The duel itself was pretty ok. I do enjoy when a character is faced with an alternative win condition as opposed to just dropping LP to zero, however it seems pretty coincidental that Evelyn would draw so many coincidental battle phase skipping trap cards when the robot is one dump away from an auto win. And yeah, I know, the anime pulls stuff like that a lot, but in my experience, I think it’s best to strive to do better than the source material where possible. Also: why is she running Thunder of Ruler instead of a second copy of Threatening Roar? It’s objectively better. There also doesn’t seem to be any semblance of a banlist which could get messy pretty quickly considering that there are modern cards in this show as well, like Ash and Imperm, which means obscenely broken cards like Maxx C, Colossus, Union Carrier, True King of all calamities, mystic mine, soul charge, etc are all legal and don’t really have an excuse not to be run alongside things like Pot of Greed or Graceful Charity. If you do have your own Banlist, I’d recommend making and posting a Google Sheet in the proper format with the cards that are banned, limited, etc in this series.
Lastly, my biggest critique is with the script writing. I’m not going to bash on your acting, I know you’re all doing your best and I’m not expecting a high budget movie level of acting from a RUclips series, so it wouldn’t be fair to speak on that. However, the writing is definitely much to be desired.
The majority of it is really basic at best and obscenely cheesy and often full of filler at worst. All the characters I’ve seen here have even very one-note and lacking in a distinctive personality outside of “very extra horny discord mod”, “power gud”, and “cheerleader”. Throughout the whole duel, none of them had anything to add of value that wouldn’t be understood by anyone who’s played the game at a basic level.
The trash talk as well was extremely basic. “I can hear those wedding bells ring”? “She’s going to kick that things metal butt!”? Like that’s straight out of 2002, I know you all can do better. Speaking of: I noticed that some lines were ripped straight from the dub. “How come it’s attack points aren’t determined?” That’s from Adrian vs Yubel/Jessie in the GX dub. It’s ok to reference things, but straight up copying is something you should avoid as a writer whenever possible. While most of the jokes didn’t land, the gag of the duel robot using several synonyms for “negate attack” while getting faster and faster did get a laugh out of me.
Overall, TLDR, I think this series has some solid merits. In terms of visuals and sound design, it’s great, no complains on that, but there’s a lack of consistency gameplay wise that should be addressed and a huge boost to the writing is GREATLY needed for this series to reach its full potential.

This duel was super fun and at the same time hilarious the duel bots big mistake telling what exodios's ability was every time a villan does that the hero wins but still the Evelyn becoming Darian's wife is 100 percent made me laugh like wow that's funny
Darian looks like the younger brother of Joey Ryan.
This hotshot should have did his research because that monster has a special ability when it attacks an opponents monster it’s attack points are automatically switch with its defense points! in other words GAME. SET. MATCH.

Anyone here remember when Exodios was used in train decks?
It was used as an easy to summon lv 10 monster for xyz plays.
Plus its gy shuffle effect was for cost so even if the summon was negated the gy would still be shuffled back which is a plus for a train deck.

I see Darren is going to be quite a nusience since he didnt learn from last time and was hoping to win with a duel bot with Exodia. (Hey thank goodness it didn't have Necross or The Legendary Defender or it would of been just as bad for Evelyn if not worse.)

I think that the duel bot is using an exodia deck.
Great episode and looking forward to Ch 16 this week. Something tells me Kisara will need to figure out what to do next esp with everything that has taken place so far. Last chapter she was so torn it kinda feels like how the Pharaoh was after he lost Yugi during season 4. Of course this is still easy the best live action that i've seen so far even with me only having been on master duel now for over a year. Keep it up Mike and looking forward to next chapters when they come out.
