No matter how hard anyone tries, Megalovania continues to be an unbreakable piece. Trying to arrange it to sound bad just doesn’t work. Goes to show just how great a composition it is, really

Megalo Strikes Back is from the "I Miss You" album, I don't really know much about it but it seems to be a fan love letter to the Mother series. MEGALOVANIA (as said by Primus and Gabriel) came from Earthbound Halloween Hack, an earlier project of Toby.
It's like saying "Inside the Mind" from YIIK is a sequel to Another Medium.
Both by Toby but for completely different projects (also yes toby made a song for yiik out of all things, it's pretty good too.)
@@conic2721 I remember having read somewhere that it was Toby Fox's intention to do this. And the Earthbound halloween hack was a good opportinity. But I should REALLY search for it.
Also the song he made for yiik is not the only thing he has done out of UT/DR. He also did something for a game called Omori (that I appreciated)
Such an unusual feeling... It seems like I'm listening to remixes of megalovania, but it sounds completely different and gives me goosebumps... It's damn cool!
And most importantly, the melody and harmonies are completely aligned here, which makes you think that this is an original track)

I mean, he technically saves his strongest physical attack for second to last. In my opinion, his attack right before his special attack is a lot stronger than his opening attack.

which yeah, i'd definitely say it's more powerful, but arguably easier to deal with in a blind playthrough, since it doesn't catch you off guard _nearly_ as much
like it's just things you've seen earlier in the fight put together, plus the circling Gaster Blaster nonsense, compared to Sans just chucking pretty much new gimmicks in your face for about 7 seconds
@@abugidaiguess That circle of Gaster Blasters at the end that forces you to move in an incredibly tight circle is very difficult to deal with. Sure, the first attack is a lot harder when you aren’t expecting it, but when you break it down, it isn’t mechanically demanding in order to dodge it completely.

This feels like a much more upbeat and hopeful version of megalovania. Almost like you taken Sanes role in fighting a world ending evil but in this case you are actually winning.

As an australian, this is how i hear all music
as both a jojo fan and an undertale fan, i didn't hear sheet music boss pull a giorno's theme in the end, but rather, I heard josuke's theme instead which is more likely not intentional, but it's still absolutely cool how similar it sounds and ends in a similar way 1:58
most people probably don't know what i'm saying since giorno's theme is more popular and barely knows josuke's theme, but it is refreshing to hear and recognize a different jojo theme other than giorno's theme from another music for a change even if it's uninentional considering josuke's theme is my favourite and one of the most underrated jojo themes to heavily influence and inspire giorno's piano and his whole theme.

whoa super clever take! I could definitely hear this in game as some kind alternate fight sequence, maybe from Sans' perspective (since many people speculate the original is actually the player's boss theme as sans fights against you, rather than the other way around)
