When I hauled my Corvette and car hauler behind my lifted F150, I was blinding a lot of oncoming/passing truckers along the way. They were complaining over the C.B. to me along the way and I told them I couldn't figure out how to adjust my headlights to compensate for the trailer weight. This is the tool I needed.
@@PanzerPlatform Happy Easter! I've been well, staying busy with the old cop car. Thanks again for the video, I will definitely use this tool when I switch to LED headlights. You're the man!
due to the fact that i am living in a part of the world where metric is the standard, big grin... i have all those tools, but thats a cool hack! happy eastern to all of you!
Right on Shaun, If I ever decide to monetize this garbage, you'll be the first to know. I'm thinking around 10K subscribers. lol Also I'm converting my hall closet into a food pantry, so it's going to be re-runs for a while. -Chuck
Great!! So simple and effective, thank you for this! Dug through my coffee cans of orphaned fasteners and found everything to do the job. Useful specialty tool cost: $0. Subscribing to Panzer Platform: Priceless.
Been loving your videos ever since I joined the panther community a few months ago. A common problem I’ve experienced and read about are the steering stops on this car clunking when you hit full lock. People recommend applying grease to quiet the issue. Have you ever encountered this? I think it would make a great video. Thanks.
Right on James, Thanks for watching. No I have not. It sounds like you may need a basic front end Steering & Suspension inspection. If you've got two hands, and a swingin' noodle it's not a difficult task. lol No special tools required. Maybe a good flashlight. -Chuck

Thanks for the video chuck my 07 grand marquis drives me crazy when i try to adjust the headlamps ( i have to take off my retrofitted projector headlamps every year for inspection) and one time they have totally blasted from a dust storm and several times because of an accident , i adjust them with a pliers
Now we need a video on how to adjust the rear windows on our cars. I can see a little too easily out of mine. It's as if there's no glass protecting me from the elements. 😀
Hi I have 07 Mercury grand marquis and as you know the pedal brake is smooth and slow response, The question is how can I make it fast response ? Thanks
Right on Ali, Thanks for watching, First I would change the brake fluid, and bleed the system of air. Then I would check the brake booster for leaks, (look up the procedure on Google). -Chuck
You might need to hold the black plastic mounting point in place with a pair of long nose pliers while making the adjustment. You might try removing the headlamp to make adjustments too. If that don't work you may have to replace the headlamp. -Chuck
@@PanzerPlatform I just got my new headlights, LED bulbs and the Lisle adjusting tool. New headlights coming soon!! It's about time! I put it off for long enough. LET THERE BE LIGHT!! ⚪️⚪️👍🏻😎

That's a trick that can be used in a variety of situations, a master machinist showed me that when we didn't have a hex key large enough.

Nice tip Chuck. I use a teeny little wrench to get on them, whatever 4mm is in SAE. It's fine until it slips out of my fingers and down into the abyss

do you prefer the Count from Sesame Street... there are von... two adjustment points ah ha ha

Idk why changing headlights bulbs for these cars are such a paine...
Right on Captain,
Pretty much every car needs to have their headlamps periodically checked for proper aim / adjustment.

This is something I need to work on with my car.. headlight aim was not great before I changed my headlights, now it's totally out in left field..
