I love this style of explain general concepts and workflow instead of an hour plus long tutorial holding your hand showing every button to press. It's not for everyone but hand holding ones are more common than more concise, advanced ones like this.

I've done this but with Houdini and just adding the rendered effect out and putting it in. Thank you for this as this is something that could be useful as well.
Looks good :) But I think it's missing bouncing particles from spining particles. On yours it isn't much visible because of cut of movie ;) But sometime ago I created similar portal and honestly I failed with those bouncing particles. Not quite easy thing to do....
