Excellent presentation! 💐You answered a lot of the questions I had how bulbs are forced. Also I wondered why some of my flowers were on such short stalks. Now I know they came out of dormancy too soon. Sometimes in the Carolinas we have the problem of not enough chill hours for certain bulb varieties like tulips so having them in containers and controlling the climate is a brilliant solution. 🌷

+Linda Simpson Linda, I usually compost my forced bulbs as they have no energy left. You could plant them after they bloomed in your garden and let them die back as usual. They might need an extra season to recover but there is a chance they will come back. ~elke~
