Similarly adukale is adige mane in Kannada. But this community had lived in Kerala also before moving to Mysore through Tamilnadu over the years. So Adukale is used by this community.
I learnt today that Sanketis came to Karnataka in 1095 AD..which makes them more Kannadiga than a lot of guys here in Bangalore.😂... Which makes them older than the East India Companys kallas.🌻
Only the packaging is good and they boast of their Sanketi culture, but they use palm oil and snacks are not fresh. I had purchased from their Vidyaranyapura store. Sanketis are known for their excellent brahmin style cooking and you people can no where match the authentic taste!
With great expectations me and my wife went there for lunch today at 1.30 pm, while my wife ordered Karnataka thali i had Bisibele bath and Ambode, sorry to say we were disappointed all the dishes were not hot,not even Rice,Rasam,Sambar,Bisibelebathand Ambode was cold and the price of the Ambode did not match it's size.I did complained .Your products are good but your service and your cook is not up to the mark.Pull up your socks and place a floor manager.

Recently when I was in Bengaluru I went in search of this place. I found the prices unreasonable and hence didi not buy even one item.

Ottu shyavige (or chomai as they call) is very famous among Sanketis. And also kotte kadubu.( both sweet and khara).
