    I love these Freeway Rick interviews! He has so many stories to tell, it’s great! You can tell that his whole experience has shaped him into a better person. He’s inspiring- he taught himself to read and write in order to then read law books to find cases etc. that would help free him from the hell hole of prison, instead of resigning himself to life in there.

    • @justmeokay8253
      @justmeokay8253 5 лет назад +20

      Yeah he's great.
      It's great how he let money and greed from the promise of the government make him decide to sell out his own people and start the crack epidemic while turning every young black man into a the same thing as he was.
      It was a trap and he set it for the government. And people look up to him for it...

      Justme Okay When’s Freeway 🛣 Gonna get his big movie debut?
      They did Whiteboy Rick dirty here in the Motor city & got Matthew McConaughey to play him & his story isn’t anywhere near as exciting as Freeway Ricks.
      I think it’d be a tough pick between Denzel Washington & Michael Kenneth Williams To play his character & make a phenomenal film out of his life story.

    I've watched a lot of Vlad's interviews this one and Johnny Curry are the best ones for me. Both these guys didn't snitch which is the first thing and both of them don't whine about what they had to go through. Johnny Curry said it the best with the life you choose you have to face the consequences or accept them. I say you can choose what you want to do but you can't choose the consequences.

You can tell that he played no games but he's got that big picture mentality. Hats Tipped to Freeway. @vlad these interviews have more substance than ones like Anthony Kill Em All Maccoroni or whatever his damn name is. More like this please.

    I have been described as "ethical to a fault." What strikes me about the above interview is the absence of ethics or considerations of morality. Now, I'm sure Mr. Rick has ethics, as everyone does. And unlike many, I'm sure Mr. Rick is self-aware enough to speak on them. But I have never considered ethics to be a privilege, but it really is. When you grow up in a neighborhood where people are dying regularly, being robbed on the daily, addicts and tragedy on every corner, there isn't room for ethics. You can't care, less you drown in despair because you are breathing tragedy daily. Yeah.....ethics as a privilege......
