    The fact that Australia doesn’t offer free schooling to school-aged-children, is the biggest reason I went there as an international school teacher because it meant they were added to my contract from the start. So glad I did that, saved me so much more money 😅😅

    Hi Chioma! Your videos are so helpful and informative. I’ll be moving to Sydney, Australia at the end of the year, and I’ve been wondering what it’s like making friends in Australia? Is it more difficult making friends there than someplace else? I’m in my late 20s for reference and I will be coming with my husband. Thanks!

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  6 месяцев назад

      In my experience, making friends here does not happen as organically as I am used to. It requires more self-driven effort which is not necessarily a good/bad thing. It's just different and depending on your personality it may/may not be more challenging.

    Nobody can predict the future and everyone should do their research. Me personally advise anybody with a house and job in their country stay just there where you are. The real truth you to your question you will not get in social media. If you want to experience struggling to find jobs, rental houses extreme prices to one persin said dump and culture shock in these difficult times I say you take the challenge. Watch some you tube videos and do research.

      Hi Patience, given that I have never worked in the UK and not familiar with their employment structure/awards, it's not very feasible for me to make that kind of video. But if I am able to find someone willing to be on camera, it's a great idea. Thanks
