Go for any nationalised banks such as 1. SBI 2. IOB 3. BOB 4. Canara Bank 5. Indian Bank ( These banks dont charge much as procesing fees and pre closure charges whereas none is ready to wait and hurrying up with their purchase with highest interest rates. IOB provided me 8.5 percent interest without any processing fees and documentation charges was less than 1000 rs inclusive of gst it was around 700 rs only. ) Please dont hurry up for finance and wait for it.

I think basic features are 1. All disc brakes 2. Adjustable headrest for all (Prevents whiplash during accident) 3. Rear wiper and washer with rear defogger 4. All power windows 5. Infotainment with audio and camera setup with sensors(Android auto must) 6. Auto fold and adjusting ORVM and IRVM(manual may be suffice) 7. Rear AC Vents 8. Tilt and Telescopic steering(mounted controls also should be there) 9. Central locking 10. Intense headlight with throw and spread 11. Noiseless cabin 12. Back seat should accomodate 3 members These features i personally feel basic which should be given by car makers along with all standard safety features

Service experience missing in the checklist. My real life experience which has changed my car buying decision. I have toyota etios liva which is my first car which I borrowed from my dad. I went toyota service centre for first time. I expected around 3-5k will be the cost. But It came out to be zero cost. Service person was great he was able to identify the issues on the spot. I asked whether general service can be done now. But suggested to drive another 2k km and then bring for General service. He said car condition is good and no need oil change as well. I was awestruck with experience. He fixed all the issue in 2 hrs. For my first time service experience it was really really great. This edged my decision from buying other cars I had in mind. My mind swifted to taisor and hyrder.

My First car was VW Polo Diesel TDI comfortline oceanic blue color during 2012 , a 3 cyclinder engine which many advised not to go for yet i bought it as i liked it so much as it gave me premium feel over maruti swift . Apart from service cost the car was really fantastic worth every penny so stable even when u cruise more than 140KMPH , it has excellent audio system dual tone dashboard , i spent 20k for floor mats, seat covers etc, i changed its drum wheels which was 14 inch size with 15inch company alloy.

Naturally aspirated engineering is different from Turbo engineering. Turbo uses back force exhaust gas to power turbo chargers and provides more power. So in city, during bumper to bumper traffic, the turbo demands more power and this in turn tries to use up the engine and as a result the fuel economy goes for a toss. Same with TSI. There are turbo engines which are efficient in city. But VW group TDI and TSI engines yield more economy in highways rather than in cities. I hope this answered your question.

But these days turbo is more common in automatic transmission and unlike manual cars there is a constant rpm maintained by these cars and the next gear is not disengaged but will stay on preselect. Naturally aspirated engineering is different from Turbo engineering. Turbo uses back force exhaust gas to power turbo chargers and provides more power. So in city, during bumper to bumper traffic, the turbo demands more power and this in turn tries to use up the engine and as a result the fuel economy goes for a toss. Same with TSI. There are turbo engines which are efficient in city. But VW group TDI and TSI engines yield more economy in highways rather than in cities. I hope this answered your question.

Only when the turbo activates then particularly in petrol cars engine uses more fuel to cool the engine. Athan diesel turbo ku mileage athigam. Petrol turbo ku mileage kammi.

But these days turbo is more common in automatic transmission and unlike manual cars there is a constant rpm maintained by these cars and the next gear is not disengaged but will stay on preselect. That's the issue here. My friend faced this issue with the old tdi Octavia.
