Cherry blossoms just like bonsai's, ramen and samurai swords were introduced to the Japan by the Chinese and Cherry blossoms actually originates from Tibet
Amazing how 30 million people can live so harmoniously, everyone just doing their own thing, enjoying life however they desire and no judging or discriminating. Chinese people are generally very friendly and respectful toward others. The West can learn a lot from them. 🥰

I love love love watching you explore Chongqing because that is my destination later this year. Do you know about the ex air raid shelters that have been repurposed into hotpot restaurants and art gallery or vintage bookstore? - again a testament that the government build things for the people to enjoy. I would love to see you visit one or two. Not many westerners know of them so if you video your reaction in one it would be so cool. Plus I suggest you visit a hot springs - there are so many within an hour of the city.
Chinese government is very smart and has unilaterally implemented a visa-free policy for many European countries this year. First of all, it will make it easier for European businessmen investing in China to travel to and from China. Secondly, it will attract many people from Western countries to travel to China and let them see the real China.
Recently, I went to pick up a friend at Beijing Daxing International Airport and saw people from a European tour group in the robot parking lot. They were surprised to see how the robot helped people find parking spaces. . . How to deliver guest's car to parking space.

In the food street, what you think is bacon is actually pig intestines with scallions, and spicy yogurt is actually a very tender tofu with a taste similar to pudding
Already 1.5k views only 20 min after the video is published! You guys are the best!
For those who are confused ,Cities are defined by various concepts.City proper concept is one of them.Tokyo is generally considered as largest city in the world, but according to city proper concept, Chongqing is the largest city proper in the world
14:16 That's not yougurt, it is tofu pudding made of soy milk. In South, most people use to eat sweet flavor.
Like basically Panna Cotta but made with soya milk. Good source of protein.

In chongqing, there is at least one elevater for cars. You can call a taxi to try it out. It looked so cool.
Before Chongqing became a municipality directly under the Central Government, it was a city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province like Chengdu. Now it has become a municipality directly under the central government, with the same administrative level as the province and under the direct management of the central government.
Incredible right? We have mentioned this in the vlog btw 😉
Actually, municipality's administrative level is higher than province.
When did this happen? And why? Did Chongqing’s GDP surpassed Chengdu? Or is it geographic reason?

The rail of Liziba Station is actually not contact or built upon the building, so the residents in the building would feel nothing. A few noise maybe, but no shaking or anything.
When I was a kid, the liberation monument was the tallest building in that area. And now...
重庆地下都是空的,有几十公里地下街。步行会很漫长。我建议你们打车进去,拍一段视频,把车开进电梯,再回到路面,那一定会是新奇的体验。
Such an incredible and unique city!! 👍👍👍
中国有无数个这样的城市每个城市都有他的独特性😂😂
I recommend you guys try to get the highest building to view the whole City at night, because I have been there last month and I'm sure you guys will get a great surprise , wishing you having a great time.
There is always so much development because China fundamental priorty is economic development in which capital will be directed to area where they can raise the standard of living of the ppl, like parks, public facilities, infrastructure and then when completed add in more projects to make that original project even better and generating non stop revenue. It is continual process and not many countries can do it.China csn because every year, they produce so much expertise in such projects, like engineers, construction / urban development managers or personnel , architects, and plentiful of workers in all fields, China can also direct entire nation resources and utilise to whichever projects they want.
Every time the reaction you see mixue is hilarious😂😂 I recommend the peach one for u to order next time

on Hong Kong island they are also building up the hills/mountains.
Not all people dare to eat these foods, like you said, some people who like a challenge will try these foods, most of them are fried and really delicious
It is all a question of having competent leadership, a system that works and a population of hardworking people ....

At 11:30, the item that looks like a radish is actually pig intestines on the outside and green onions inside. Some people really love this combination. At 14:10, that’s tofu pudding made from soybeans, which is found in both northern and southern China. In the south, they add sweet sauce, while in the north, they add salty sauce. But here in Chongqing, they add spicy sauce! You should give it a try, haha. The texture is like ice cream. In fact, I have previously spoken to residents living near Liziba Station, and they mentioned that the light rail doesn’t really bother them much, whether it’s the vibrations or the noise. The impact is almost negligible. The main issue now is that too many people come here to take photos! Haha. By the way, I’m really looking forward to your next video on Chongqing’s night scenes!
I miss Chongqing. One of the best places in the world!
Need help on translation? Around 9:40 in the video, the lovely lady said to Libby "好漂亮, 好美, 美女!", meaning "So beautiful! So pretty! Pretty lady." Around 14:15, the white "yogurt" is tofu's cousin 豆腐脑 Dou Fu Nao. People in northern part of China eat it with salty source while people in the south part have it with sugar. BTW, were you there on May 1? That's the national holiday in China. Maybe that's why so many people were there.
五一劳动节啦嘿嘿
After climbing stairs everyday you'd need to go to a SPA to recuperate. Other citiesbare not built like Chingqing
The pastry you guys had called GuoKui, it is a very a popular local street food
I've only watched less than 3 minutes so far, but I got to comment first and finish the video after
What an amazing looking city. Makes me a little jealous that I haven't had the opportunity to go there and see it for myself so far. Hopefully one day
Btw, can't help but think what an awesome location those streets would be for a movie about a zombie outbreak. So many buildings for the character to run into, or for zombies to run out from
I really enjoy watching videos of the Mi Xue couple. They have been to more Chinese cities than I have (I am Chinese, from Guangzhou, and it has been raining continuously recently 😭)
又开始暴雨了,4月份几乎天天暴雨😢😢
6:53 This skyscraper looked exactly like this in July last year, and even at that time I was susprised no one was working on it, no workers no sound, I guess this project is related to Evergrand... But no worries someone will complete it, it's best property in chongqing 🌸
My family really likes your China series! After watching your videos, I found that your way of traveling is very suitable for self-driving tours in China, because China is very large. Foreigners with driver's licenses can apply for a Chinese temporary driver's license. You can ask the locals or find out online. It's very easy! I hope to see you start a video series of self-driving tours in China!🥰
I Was Actually Very Dissapointed to See China Follow Detroit in the 1990's... ...The Problem with "Automobiles" is they are "Useless" until You Can Reach your Destination and Deposit them in a Parking Lot! Trains, & Busses Deliver People Much More Efficiently... ...& Don't Need Massive Parking Lots "Devouring" So Much "Premium" Real Estate in the Urban Playground!!! Who ever Visited a City to "Tour" a Parking Lot!!!😢😂
Wonderful video, thank you very much for sharing it with us
Thank you very much, my friend! Britain is also a beautiful country, and I hope the friendship between our two peoples can last for a long time

‘Mixue couple’ what a cute nickname 🧋
Love it 🥰
You guys just roaming around from one city to another in China. But China has so much more to offer in the country side you guys are missing out big time! E.g Chengdu is a good starting point to explore nearby beautiful Leshan Giant Buddha,
qingcheng and emei mountain. Xi'an is a good starting point to climb huashan mountain. In Beijing, you didn't visit Summer Palace either, which in my opinion, made you not complete your visit to those famous Chinese cities yet! (Those big and modern Chinese cities all look kind of similar after all, what makes them different from one to another is actually lies in the country side)
So true. China is definitely not completed if you guys have not explored its beautiful country side
I'm glad you had a great time in China. Welcome to come again next time! I like your vlog very much
❤❤❤ informative from this lovely pair.
Love you couple and have fun in China. A advise for better taking metro or bus, if you two are using iPhone, actually there are lots of transit card of many different cities of China in iPhone Wallet, and many of those card can be used not just that city but actually almost all city in China (if it have a red&green "china T-union" logo on it), so you can add one and use it in the following days within whole China so that you no need to spend time to buy ticket everytime, either metro or bus. According my test, I recommend you to add Shanghai Transit Card, it can be recharge in credit card. And again, have a very good trip!
Thanks for the useful suggestions 🥰

32:07 It's called 锅盔 (guo kui) not Roujiamo since the pie is not cut open. It's more like meat stuffed pastry.
简单来说就是个肉饼😂
The city itself is an engineering marvel
1:05:03 Apparently the people who live in the building can’t hear the train passing through. It was designed so there’s no noise issue. And apparently this train passing through building came to be because licenses for both the train and building were issued at the same time so they decided why not accommodate both. That’s cooperation.
Chongqing is indeed an amazing mega city second to none! By the way, the hawker in the street selling what you said Yogurt but actually is Soy-beancurd, Can be eaten with sugary syrub or soy-sauce with chilly!
Talking about Futuristic, they are way ahead of time. That alone we Chinese who are from outside of China knew decades ago. Most western countries feel threatened by China, that is why they are talking bad. You have been in Asia for a while, you can notice most Chinese people are quite tolerance.

There's a place that you HAVE TO go to, it's the grand theater and the river bank below it, where you get the most insane night scene of probably the world. From there you'll know how cities can be sublime, and why people call her cyberpunk. Similarly you can walk through Qiansimen Bridge from north to the south, the sight is incredibly breathtaking as well.

The bread you guys had is called "Guo Kui". It is similar but different from "Rou Jia Mo".
Awesome guys, can’t get enough from your video. Thank youuuuu❤. Oh, she is so lovely and you are handsome too 😂❤
The most interesting thing I think is getting into the small streets near residential buildings. You never know where they lead you, that’s really fun! If you still there, there is one interesting building called“Hong Ding Guo Ji”, which is very famous with different types of entertainments fill in one building, you can live inside forever because the building has everything you need! There was a famous writer wrote a book for it, describe his adventure inside the building for 6 days. Sounds fun right?😁😁😁
Hong en temple in Chongqing is stunning, please check it in the evening!!
I think you can talk to Mixue about the issue of endorsement cooperation. In China, your two families have a nickname, Snow King and Snow Queen, because Mixue means Sweet Snow. I don't know if you two like it or not.

5:35 Cherry blossoms originates in China... Japanese brought it to Japan and made it popular. In China, we have much more beautiful flowers. e.g. the national flower is 牡丹, cherry blossoms is not even among top 10.
Sounds a bit petty. Only china has beautiful flowers? I thought Chinese monks brought cherries to Japan?
The only drawback of Chongqing is that it is not friendly to parkour enthusiasts.
