Is the mulch the same as hogfuel? How do u keep the hay dry in the hay nets? With rain? With the hay that falls and gets way it would get moldy for them? Thank u

How interesting, I've never heard it called hog fuel. At our material yard, I just ask for Texas Hardwood mulch, which is a mix of oak, elm, and cedar. Or, we mulch our own trees when we clear our land (same mix, but mostly cedar.)
If it's actively raining, I keep only small amounts of hay in the outdoor haynets and overfill the one hanging in our barn, so it doesn't all get soaked and end up going in the compost pile. Hope that helps.
