I have been using this for 2 weeks (i am a college student) and it does everything I need it to do. The battery lasts me the whole day so the slow charging isn't an issue. The display is bright enough that watching movies outside isn't an issue and despite being an 800p display, you don't notice it that much thanks to the high pixel density. Plus I love the 90Hz refresh rate. Performance wise it's snappy when opening up apps and day to day tasks it can handle easily. I play a bit of CODM on it and it can manage about 40-50 fps which very playable. It's not meant for gaming so a heavy game like Genshin impact really doesn't run well on it. I also use it for Adobe Lightroom which it handles extremely well with batch exports of over 8-9 photos with a pretty tasking preset taking about 3 minutes. It does support stylus input in the Mi Canvas app where you can simply uncheck "draw with fingers" to disable palm rejection. The camera is also decent enough to capture a quick photo and scan documents too. It's also very lightweight to you can comfortably hold it in your hands with zero issues
Thank you good sir. Gonna buy it and maybe switch for the ipad mini 7 someday.
How much hours sot do you get on this
can you edit 4k video on capcut?
So it supports stylus, how is it for note taking? I'm also a student
He has wifi?
this ia a steal for me with the 90 refresh rate and batt life, im a manga reader and netflix enthusiasts :) for those cheapskate gamer who wants high cpu/gpu with the same price, stop being stupid... if you cant afford flagship tablet stop bashing budget ones :)
Its not a "shame" if it has a plastic body compared to the Samsung A9 Tab. The bigger battery and FM radio more than makes it up for the plastic build even though it comes with a 12nm G85 CPU. I'm glad that there are still companies who sell budget devices like this.
Bought it yesterday and I was impressed with the tablet, with the price cheaper than others, I satisfied with it.
Does stylus works in this tablet?
@Shinigami-h21 yes it can.
Can it use the Redmi pen from its larger brother?
How is the front camera? Usable for video calls?
I have it and I bought 4 🤣 2 for my parents and 2 for my work and personal usage. So far so good. I love how handy it is and I didn't need a big screen at all. So far it is decent and can do everything as long as it is basic usage. Nevertheless if you want a tablet that is easy to bring and small enough to bring. It's overall okay to own one
Does it have palm rejection?
Have been using for last 1 month.... See the con if this tablet is it's size (8.7inch) as most if people say.. But the problem with the tablet is that... Firstly it's not a laptop...ya tablet with a bigger screen is better but remember we have to scroll the whole screen by our finger only... Unless pen is supported.. So as per the budget segment & as per the convenience of the users. This is the best tablet.
I'm a big fan of the mini 8" tablets. Of all the 8-9" tablets under the $200 range, I found the Headwolf Fpad 5 to be one of the best spec wise. I just ordered one three days ago and will report back once I get it and test it after a week or two. I paid $155. The resolution is 1920x1200 on an 8.4" IPS LCD with 270 PPI and a Helio G99 processor, 128GB storage, 8 GB ram, Android 14, 4G LTE, GPS and more. It has great reviews overall. What I find appalling is that IBM Lenovo Legion tablets do not have GPS in them. I understand the Legion tabs are built for gaming and high performance but for $400+ they could and should have thrown in GPS like everyone else and everyone uses Google Maps or Waze. What the _ _ _ _ were they thinking? Really unacceptable and I was willing to buy that Legion tablet over the Headwolf at more than twice the price. I found your review helpful and thank you. Liked and subscribed.
Me too.Especialy those who can efficiently completely replace my smartphone.2 in 1.
hi mike how did it go with the Headwolf Fpad 5? is it worth buying?
You didnt mention it supports Dolby vision audio via Dual speakers and how it supports 18W fast charging. Those are all really good features on top of the 90Hz screen compared to the Samsung A9
bro where is the Netflix and RUclips test?? omggg every single one of these reviews doesn't test these basic things
So disappointed about the resolution... Just a few years ago we were getting higher resolution screens like Lenovo Tab8Plus... Search goes on in 8inch range
Alldocube iplay 60 mini or if you have more money Legion Y700
@@dandjsh7978 Alldocube is killing it. Samsung should takes notes.
Exactly, they this low resolution and 90hz display, omg. Its almost imposible to see difference between 60 and 90 Hz. But different resolution can see anyone
The tablet market is so diluted that it's no longer sensible to put effort into the budget range of tablets.
Is the viewing angle as bad as the Samsung Tab A9 and Realme Pad Mini?
You mentioned a detailed comparison with the Galaxy Tab A9. I am thinking of getting one of the two as e-reader & offline viewer for video streaming content (e.g. Netflix downloads). I am also interested in more depth on the OS capabilities and eco-system integration (e.g. interactions with Samsung/Huawei devices, interactions with Windows laptop). Would you consider those aspects in your detailed review?
how’s everything going?. very cool unboxing, take care.
The sound is pretty good even at the loud end of the scale, was it fully updated ? I Bought a 4g version. That mobility along with its bright screen and very good battery its great for the outdoors camping etc.
About
Xiaomi PAD SE 8.7 is it possible to connect to an external monitor with HUB via USB-c?
Are the display's colors better than A9 ?
is a screen protector pre-installed?
I'm just going to answer this, since I just got mine. Nope, there's no screen protector. Not sure if I missed it on the video, but I hope reviewers always include this in their reviews (or unboxing)
Why not Helio G99😞?
Aldocube iplay mini 50 pro have g99

I have a Lenovo Tab M9. Based on what I have seen, this is slightly better than mine. Or am I missing something?
Yes it's a little bit better but I wouldn't upgrade from the Lenovo Tab M9. You won't notice that much of a difference
@@MyNextTablet Thanks for replying!
Does it support Pen stylus?
Does it have GPS?
Am I the only one who hates thick bezels? My Lenovo M9 the Ipad Mini look so old fashion compared to designs like this Redmi Pad SE 8.7
Can it multitask?

Are you going to review the new Honor MagicPad 2?
Yes
Which one u think samsung a9 or this
I dont think the world needs another me too! Cheap tablet with a 2 Yr life span.
Now, i need a android tablet with Amd Z1 chip inside it....
It can run PS2 emulation but the selection of games is, sadly, very limited.
Display and Battery comparison of this and a9
Does the battery lasts longer than the A9?
It is not a shame if it is made of plastic. I like plastic over metal and glass body. It's more comfy, solid and lightweight. I don't need to fear about dropping this item off.
Is it really that hard for them to make it at least full hd?😑
Gorilla glass
